Anyone know any women who REALLY HATE PORN?

I know it's hard to believe, but there are some people, men and women both, that are not into porn of any kind.

I think it's fair to say I am not a prude or sexually-repressed....
I don't like porn.

I wouldn't tell a SO that he cannot look at it - but I wouldn't want to find it.

It's just crass and does absolutely nada for me. I can be sexually-submissive at times but I don't like the messages porn sends men.


I've tried very hard (lol), to get over my distaste for it but I have yet to see the light.

I used to watch a good amount of porn, but to be honest the only places they have left to go...i have no desire to......some of the stuff out there now is this side of snuff.i know it's fantasy but it's gone to extremes....not every girl wants cum on her face EVERYTIME.Not every girl LOVES eating ass.Not EVERY mother wants to have a 3some with her daughte etc etc.....In the last two years i've watched probably the least amount I have in 25 years.

I found out my 12 ( now 13 ) year old son was watching red tube. The title of the video was "Hot blonde gets it up the ass". I was frankly horrified ( and I don't have a problem with porn... ). I took him out for the afternoon and broached the subject with him. I of course got the geez mom comment but I told him that if he was mature enough to watch it, he was mature enough to talk about it.
I had thought long and hard about what I was going to tell him and realized that the problem with porn is that it is not an accurate representation of what sex is. That being curious about it or turned on by it is normal but to understand that if this is what his expectation of sex is he's going to scare the living shit out of his first girlfriend and likely be extremely disappointed.

Ultimately I think that this is also the problem many women have with porn. They feel as though they're not living up to what a man wants from them and they're left feeling inadequate.

Someone else mentioned that women under 30 these days seem to "get it" better. Perhaps that is because they grew up with the internet and didn't need to rely on Judy Blume or the Sunday night sex show with Sue Johanson .

I think if you are spying on each other's browser history, there are bigger issues in the relationship than what you find there.

That said, my reaction to a SO's porn habit would depend on what kind of porn it was. If there were children, other men or donkeys involved, that would certainly give me reason to pause and rethink things. "Regular" porn? I don't care, as long as the porn habit hasn't overtaken his life to the point that I'm not getting laid.

I don't like watching hard-core though, I spend too much time thinking "ouch, that looks painful."

I have a friend whose husband is forbidden from watching any kind of porn at all. I always thought it had more to do with her own insecurities about her body than it did anything else.

What I hate about today's porn -


1) All the women are double d's and bigger and would bounce back up if they fell on their face. Not to mention that they all look incredibly scuzzy;
2) All the guys can fuck for hours and have considerably bigger dicks than me. The black guys are just ridiculous;
3) All people want to do is fuck asses;
4) The era of a plot is dead;
5) Everyone is a "star" even if you have just shot one scene.
6) Production values suck.

Anyone ever watch that HBO reality show called The Right Hand. It's about young guys who are production assisstants for some scumball by the name of Porno Dan who runs his own porn company. After half an hour you just have this urge to go have a shower.

If they made a porn movie that had a good plot, very attractive actors and actresses, lots of hot foreplay and even hotter sex, a lot of people would buy it, and they would watch it more than once, instead of acquiring new porn, and the business model for the porn industry would fall apart. Porn is, essentially, junk food for the libido. It tastes 'ok', but it leaves you hungry for something better.

I would rather look at porn photos than watch a porn video, and only if the participants are very attractive. In particular, I really liked many of the hardcore pictorials that they had in Penthouse a few years ago, especially when they were photographed by Suze Randall. When you hear some of the actresses speak in a video, it often kills the fantasy.

As for women who hate porn, add my oldest sister to that list. She even considers my BeautyMarks font to be porn. Fortunately, most women are more open minded than that; most of the positive feedback I've had from the font has been from women. (click the violet text for a link to the font).

The reason they don't make porn movies with a good plot is because the majority of porn is purchased by men and they could care less about a plot. They just want to see the sex scenes.

I think couples can benefit from certain types of porn. For example, put some porn on and ask your partner if he/she sees something they'd like to try. Sometimes it can be easier to tell your partner you'd like to try something when you see another couple doing it.

What are you talking about? I mean, this is simply not true. At all. I really feel like people saying this kind of stuff don't even watch porn and just have this sort of pre-conceived notion about it.

I would bet that there is porn out there for everyone. There is plenty of stuff that even the women that have posted in this thread saying they don't enjoy porn would enjoy.

Go to any major porn search engine (or just go to the respective sites themselves) and look up x-art, pornpros, danejones, sexart... (There are others but those are ones that immediately come to mind...) and tell me that stupid list you posted is still valid.

I don't like porn that involves "women that are double Ds" and "scuzzy looking," or stuff where "All people want to do is fuck asses" and am perfectly happy with the porn I do consume.
