It's in reference to size... and how bigger is better. Of course, not always the case.
My favourite though has to be - "Once you go black, you're going to need a wheelchair."

Quite frankly I don't believe many people see it as being as racist as it is. The underlying sentiment is that sex with a person of colour is somehow so corrupting or pernicious that you are never again able to enjoy "normal" sex.
I do believe the original context was that if a Caucasian woman slept with an African, she would be shunned from society and therefore have no choice of going back.
Obviously this term transitioned to refer to large penises stretching a vagina so an average penis (non-african) is now inadequate.
Both are loony bin nowadays. Although I do know many men who are uncomfortable dating a woman who has had previous relations with an African man.

I always thought it meant that if a white guy had sex with a black woman it would be so sensual and liberating that he could never again be satisfied with an uptight white female prude.
