There's only 2 guys on the Raptors that have heart and always consistently play hard, Valanciunas and Lowry. We see glimpses of heart from DeRozan but he's not consistent, we also see glimpses from Amir, Davis and sometimes Jose. The rest of the team is questionable, just get rid of Bargnani, he's the most inconsistent player ever, and he shows no emotion on the court. Jonas and Lowry make me proud to be a Raptors fan, I love their intensity, I haven't seen that much heart from any Raptor since the great Jerome Junkyard Dog Williams.
Do we need heart or somebody who can make a critical stop or critical basket when this team needs it . I do think Bargs has to go just for the sake of changing the losing culture in the dressing room . I think Bargs has become a coach killer and his hunger to get better has actually stopped .

Just read this ... A match ??

Lakers Aren't Seeking Trade Of Pau Gasol

With Dwight Howard getting Boards Bargs could fit in .. D'Antoni Italian ???

Another game, another loss. The Raps are now 3-12, this is brutal. Coming into the season I was expecting them to be a .500 team or close to that and slip into the 8th spot in the East. What happened? How did it all go so horribly wrong? If they keep this up it will be their worst season in their history. I like Casey, but I'm sorry, he needs to go. How long can Colangelo keep this going without making some serious changes? 3-20? 3-45? Truly shameful.

I hear ya, man, I was excited to watch the team even if they didn't make the payoffs. But in no way did I think they'd be in the top-5 lottery race again.

I don't think Casey is the problem, it's clear that it's Colangelo.

Casey is first to go. He sucks badly. He should be thrown right out of the league, and barred from even attending an NBA game. period.

This team is going no where with McGuire, Fields, Kleiza at SF. It makes having James Johnson seem like a luxury.
Hopefully Casey and Colangelo are both gone by the end of this season, and seeing as how we suck, we suck bad enough to be top 3 in the lottery and not have to give up our pick.

I am seeing some good stuff from our 1st round pic this year . Could he be the future SG and DeRozan go to SF position ? Or why not put Amir Johnson at PF , Bargs at SF and Jonas at Centre ?

Actually keep BC...... it's not his fault that Bargs is playing worse than last year. What little we saw of him last year looked intriguing. I like the Lowry trade. I think Jonas was a good pick. Ed Davis is good too.
Barg's is the most critical issue of our team. Get rid of him and you'll see an entire dynamic change. We have an entire defense and offense based around this guy and he doesn't even show up to play. Take the multi-million dollar contract as a loss just like VC and toss him to the road.

Ditch bargs or make him 6th man who only stays on court if he is scoring, and in this era of Toronto retread coaches might as well bring back Butch Carter ;)

I think it might help if they give Bargs a couple of east touches early in the game to get him going offensively, and then they pay someone on the other team to elbow Bargs in the head to make him mad so maybe he blocks out his man on defence and plays with a bit of anger.

But I still think that if they stay relatively healthy we're going to see a lot of improvement in the next few months.

one of the reason bargniani sucks is because he hangs around behind the 3pt line so much. I don't know if it's him or that's the play but he should be hanging around the perimeter not all the way out there. and so far he's no longer the first option for scoring.bargniani has the touch to down 3's and 2's just like dirk but he doesn't have the post up and IQ of dirk and dallas plays dirk's match up pretty well. one more thing I notice, whenever there's a switch and there's a miss match, let's say bargniani is being guarded by the smaller player...they don't see that as the opportunity...what they see is lowry being guarded by a slower bigger man and go that route. like i said, this team is overhyped. if this team can hang with the spurs double OT, why can't they beat other teams? inconsistency.

Bargs also should cut some of his bad shots down ... If you don't have a clear look then pass it up ... Don't force a play and throw out a air ball .

They're now 3-13, wow, they're on pace to tie or maybe even beat their worst record in their history. What a huge disappointment, Colangelo has been such an unsuccessful GM, Casey has been such an unsuccessful coach, and Bargnani has been such an unsuccessful number 1 pick. I don't think this culture of losing is going to change anytime soon.

When your rebuilding and sell off mode 3-13 is acceptable and fan base prepared to cheer for lottery ball but after a summer of spending and trading and expecting the playoffs 3-13 is a friggin joke ... The tone of the franchise for the season was set when Bargs came to camp 15 pounds fatter and out of condition .

Casey has a career winning percentage under .400, he had losing seasons in Minnesota from 2005-2007 before he got fired and he continues his losing ways today with the Raptors. I don't see why anyone thinks this guy deserves not to get fired, the Raptors look so lost out there, they look like a high school team. Of course he's not the only one to blame, Colangelo and Bargnani are to blame too, this team is just a huge mess.

This is the boxscore of last years Raptors visit to Memphis ...

http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=320316029

Then after a summer of trading and spending this Raptor team gets blown out to the same team ?

What I don't understand is how this team could be so much worse than last year's team, and last year's team was pretty damn bad. Who pays Landry Fields $20 million over 3 years? Colangelo does. Who keeps an underperforming number 1 pick from 6 years ago when the whole city has been calling for his trade for at least the last 4 years? Colangelo does.

Disappointing is a kind word to describe the Raptors! With the exception of one player, this team appears to have accepeted losing. Most of them are use to it and it has become a way of life. Last year no offense but the defense busted their tails and a team less skilled(on paper) were a lot more fun to watch than this group of overpaid pussies! At this point the ONLY addition to this team I like is JV. Lowry, Fields, Ross, are at best disappointing. Playoffs not happening, they would have to play 500 plus to hsve a chance at making the playoffs and they can't win back to back.
