I think the 100th Grey Cup deserves a thread unto itself, especially since the Argoooos are now the host team.

Way to go.

Should be an interesting week and hopefully cosmopolitan, world class Toronto will embrace the event with lots of enthusiasm, as it deserves. I'm sure Mark Cohon is very happy.

Only have one Grey Cup story. Never been to a game but I did sell souvenirs outside the Royal York one night, probably '69 or '70. All I remember was it was just one big street party and all the out of towners were having a blast. One guy stole one of my cowboy hats off my head. I think it was the most expensive item I had.

I remember the celebration after the Argos won the Cup 18-17 in '83. The crowds on Yonge Street had it shut down. This was just two years after the Argos had seriously sucked with a 2-14 record, but they had turned it around with Holloway & Barnes and the Run and Shoot offence. It was quite a celebration.

THEY'RE HERE! Met a few Calgarians downtown to-day. What a bunch of rednecks. Heard they even elected a Muslim mayor. (Just kidding about the redneck thing.)

I imagine they must have all been pretty easy to spot.

What is the point spread on the game? Is there a point spread?

No but you would think signs would be on highways !
I haven't been downtown either, but I think if one were to venture there, they'd find lots of stuff going on. Papers and TV have been showing lots of activities.

Calgary was the one team I didn't want the ARGOS to face.
They shreaded the best defence.
Cornish is a great running back and Kevin Glenn might just have one of those games for the ages.

That beeing said, ARGOS 38 Stamps 35

Is that a sign of things to come or does it indicate a change of results is overdue?

A streak can continue indefinitely, but can only end once.
