I'm sure there are many instances where a client that has fallen head over heels for an SP, but how often does an SP fall for a client? As an SP, they cater to the client's needs and as such, give them the illusion of being wanted, but I'm sure there are times when the feelings are mutual and real but the SP chooses not to cross the escort-client boundary.

Thoughts?

I haven't fallen for a client, but I have fallen for a male stripper I have been seeing queit alot lately. It's a hard thing to navigate since there are emotions. chemistry and constantly wondering if the provider just sees you only as a client or more then one. There is also the wonder if this particular person is giving you true feelings and actions of affection. you wonder if they are just trying to keep up with the fantasy in giving you what you want. it might not be an illusion but it sure does get confusing.

This is truly fascinating. Riley may be one of very few who have seen both sides of the coin and can truly appreciate the nuances. Perhaps you can write a book one day! LOL.

cookiesandcream - for sure it happens. I've always maintained that it's far better not to get mix business with pleasure (or hobbying pleasure with personal pleasure). But it happens. I don't think it's nearly as common as clients falling for SPs. But, based on my limited anecdotal experience, when SPs fall, they tend to fall hard.

I would think that SPs put up walls and are pretty careful about who they let in. They full well know the fantasy they project and they know that who we see is not necessarily who they really are. As one girl said "he's in love with the idea of me, but not with me."

But, we're all human. Guys can be very charming, generous and thoughtful. We can show an SP a world that she may have only dreamed about before; to be cherished, loved and cared for...but as more than just a sex object. There's also a great deal of appeal to being able to let down your SP-guard while at the same time being close to someone who knows what that world is about. (The alternative being to engage in a relationship where the SPs work is kept a total secret from her partner.) For sure, SPs can fall for amazing clients who sweep them off their feet. As another girl said, "stuff that happens in movies never happens to me...." but then it did.

My theory is that SPs tend to fall hard, if and when they fall, because it takes so much to convince them to let down their guard. So when they do, they're quite a few steps ahead in getting their minds around someone as a partner. Likewise, they tend to be much more tolerant of flaws. Again, my theory is that they've already formed a strong opinion of a person. Admitting that he is deeply flawed would also mean admitting that her judgment was wrong. So, when they fall, they fall hard.

But, given the nature of their work, they are also very good compartmentalizing. So, if it doesn't work out, the guy might find himself out in the cold, with the light just turned off.

I would like to read these rules , just so I can get an idea of how many of them I have already broken.

and it kind of true they are in love with idea of us but if they were truely to fall in love with us they would have to deal with the baggage we work so hard to protect and lock away.

It makes sense for any SP to stay away from customer relationships because unless they actually spend time out of the bedroom with one - it could be only 1 hour a day that they can stand being with each other.

As far as the baggage my love, we all carry some. In any early social situation - I don't know anyone who leads with the baggage they are (of think they are) carrying. In the end when you find out you truly like each other - 'my' baggage is gladly shared by both. Good luck with your guy !

What about when one SP falls for another SP? I have a massive crush on one of the ladies I did a duo with so I'm choosing a total denial.

I hope it works out for you darling, but would you let me pleasure her if we did a duo with her and she enjoyed it?

Dear Riley,

Okay, here they are but remember, this is from the perspective of a guy who starts off as a customer (or remains one at the club but not outside the club - we're not talking about take-out either), and who goes out but isn't sure if she's playing him, so it includes tips to play her back (a guy is not going to go thru the motions just to be frustrated).

My Top Ten Golden Rules of Dealing With or Dating Strippers

The following is my personal guideline and is always a work-in-process (I could also devote a chapter to each rule). There are exceptions to the rules because they can't apply to every situation. I've compiled it from my experience with exotic dancers in which the very nature of their work requires them to be more players than direct service providers, and perhaps more so than MPAs or SPs. This doesn't mean that strippers, MPAs or SPs aren't nice people. I've met many who are nicer than 'civilians', and I've met a few who've met their BFs or SOs at work.

The Top Ten Golden Rules of Dealing With or Dating Strippers:

1. Do not go deep (i.e., careful to fall in love).

2. Don't be cheap but don't endlessly spoil them without reciprocation (unless it is a loss leader).

3. Negotiate if u must but don't nickel and dime.

4. Always be a gentleman (the Cary Grant rule - he was a man that didn't get (or appear to get) jealous, and if pissed off, he objected eloquently - he took the high road - he was a man of principle too - you must strive to be Mr. CG).

This means you may voice your opinion but be eloquent and objective.

5. Don't get mad, go elsewhere. (Don't be like two magnets of equal polarity - you will only repel each other the harder you argue). There are many, many fish in the sea, many of whom are not in the industry.

6. Don't burn ur bridges (What goes around comes around. She may realize that you were a good customer/person and be more welcoming down the road, etc. Perhaps, you can remain respectful friends).

7. Don't force mileage. Move on after reasonable efforts have been exhausted.

8. If necessary, remind them of the competition but don't throw it in their face. (Its ok to play them a little. Civilian dating involves some game playing too).

9. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt, unless ur with them most of time or really know better (the Where there's smoke, there's fire rule).

10. Be on guard. Always expect surprises or expect the worse. Pay attention to red flags, but never speculate or make rash comments. When in doubt, keep quiet (it's best to keep your mouth fucking shut rule). Avoid looking like an ass.
================================================== ================================================== =====

Rule 1 is the most important but Rules 4 and 6 sometimes take precedent. Also, Rule 1, 9 and 10 help you keep a cool head. Date and have fun. If it's successful & ongoing, you will eventually know if it's for real. Last edited by

Fallen for a client, no. Attracted to a client, yes.

This summary is dead on. Been there, done that, much to my complete surprise. Moved on from escorting back to her other real-life job. One thing we knew from the beginning is that we were very very sexually compatible. Would never have dreamed of it or recommend looking for it. It just happened, but all of the "feelings" stuff was from her to me, somewhat like a confession. Funny, you never know where you will find your soulmate. Never say never!
