Well we were attacked by people led by Al Qaeda based in Afghanistan. Just like the Israelis are being attacked by people based in Gaza.

Anyway, I generally do not support getting involved in civil wars such as Rawanda, Bosnia, Libya, Syria, Sudan, etc. When we bombed the Serbs in Kosevo we were siding with the Muslims against the Serbs in their civil war.
Well the problem with that logic is that Al Qaeda sort of think that the US has been attacking them for years with impunity. Those bombs dropped from way up in the sky and drone and strikes piss people off. Who could imagine they would feel justified in striking back?

I think Al Qaeda is an abomination. And that it would never have had much power if they did not have the "They Attacked US" flag to wave around.

But hey, what do I know :). I am stupid enough to believe in cause and effect leading to cause and effect leading to cause and effect.

But I guess until we get more women in power we will have to live with it

Actually, I agree with you if you are saying that NATO should have stayed out of Kosevo and Bosnia. Just let the Serbs and Muslims fight it out between themselves.
I'm not saying that (although I do believe that).

I'm saying that waging war on a country that has not attacked you is an act of aggression.

You do realize that Al Qaeda is a terrorist group as opposed to a nation don't you?

Okay, that's just insane...

I'm a fan of women in a big way.. I think that women are more than capable of doing EVERYTHING that a man can..

But don't give me this shit about women being "peaceable" leaders.. Women will wage war just as much as a man will.. History has proven that.

If the government of the United States tried to kill me, then I would consider attacking the United States as an act of self defense (regardless of the fact that I'm not a nation)...

Having said that, I don't agree with mrsCaloki.. I just think your comments are useless.

you do realize that almost all Moslem fanatics are Moslem?

And you do realise that when you attack Moslems because they are Moslem the fantastic ones think you are attacking Moslems? And will try and strike back.

Do you realize that hate breeds hate. That one pain will invite a pain in return? That one insult will beg for a response?

If the west does not learn to understand the middle east and Moslem tribal system they will one day be revisiting the crusades.

Indeed.. Maragret Thatcher waged war against the Argentians
Golda Meir, Israeli Prime Minister during the Yom Kippur War
Biljana Plavšić - President of Srpska - Highest Ranking Bosnian Serb to be convicted of war crimes

... Between the two of us, my wife would be the first to pick up a gun and kill somebody.. Women are just as bloodthirsty as men.. I think women are just more calculating about it.

What happens when a Muslim attacks another Muslim? Then all the Muslims attack each other?

BTW: The Germans invaded France because the French were so damn annoying. Just kidding. France declared war on Germany in September 1939.

With respect know anyone who either were on the aircraft, in the Pentagon or in the two World Trade Center Towers on 11 September, 2001? I do, as far as I'm concerned - enough said.

So the west drops bombs from the sky and kill their people. They drop planes from the sky and kill ours. And it just keeps going on and on?

If you invade peoples country, they will not be very fond of you. If you kill their families they will try and kills yours. It is like tic tac to. A no win game. Unless you have the intellect of a 6 year old. The only way to win is to not play.

To deny people the right to demonstrate is one of the main reasons the west claims that the invasions are justified. Seems ironic that the western soldiers thought they were dying to protect rights like that one.

That why the French said "we surrender" in 1940. Meanwhile, the British fools kept fighting.
BTW: The Afghans have been killing other Afghans for 1,000 years. Can't blame the U.S. for everything.

Well tribal societies have been doing it for much more than a few thousand years. And just containing them and not getting involved if so simple. Getting involved just escalates it globally.

From my point of view it is simple: Do not sell arms to them. Do not sell air-planes and rockets and land mines to them. Do not drop bombs on them. Do not invade them. Do not get involved. If you get involved realise they will strike back in any way they can. No one likes being invaded. No one likes being occupied.

I do not. I do know a sweet class mate from over a decade ago whose entire family back home was killed by a bomb dropped by a pilot so she could be liberated. Does that count?

In the same sense as if some of your Grandfather's extended family in France had been killed by the RAF/RCAF/RAAF/RNZAF or the USAAF.

Not really, in her mind at least her country was free and although it had problems it was doing more or less ok. Just an act of aggression by cowards from a safe distance.
