Isn't that what you and most people said last year ?
Can't speak for most people, but I think this is the first time I've said it.

I had a good time debating about Tiger not passing Jack and since then he hasn't won even one. But Roger, I hadn't given up on him 'til now.

Roger still has another Major in him
Does Andy Murray have another major in him?

I think he gets one Wimbledon at least. After winning Olympic Gold and US Open, he'll get a hero's welcome every time he plays. That's gotta be inspiring for him, pump him up to hit new levels of excellence.

Something was wrong with fed when he went down to byrdch it was pretty clear to see. But he would never admit it. I Thai k he has probably one or 2 slams left in him

Are you suggesting he was injured or hurt in some way? Can you be more specific. I thought he just got beat that day fair and square. The big hitters have given Fed problems in the past.

I am a Fed fan, I dont think he was hurt or tired. Some people might say the walkover from Fish might have hurt him, but at the end of they day I think he just got beat. Interesting enough, I believe the Swiss drew the Czech Republic in the Davis Cup for next February so we will see a rematch at that time, if not before the Asian swing heading into the indoor season and into the AO in January. I believe Canada drew Spain and will be played in Canada. Looking forward to seeing Raonic go up against the Spaniards.

Federer's future chances depend to some extent on Nadal's recovery. If Nadal gets back to form, Federer will find it really hard to win another slam. Still difficult without Nadal, with Djokovich still around and now a resurgent Murray.

Overall I would be surprised if he wins another. But there again who would have thought he'd regain number 1!

Have to agree popsicle 100%. And you make a good point about the walkover. Remember Novak also received a walkover in the 2011 French Open QF (and up until and including that point he was undefeated on the season) and then he played Federer in the semis and looked rusty in the early going and ended up losing the match. So sometimes a walkover can hurt a players rhythm. Valid point raised by you.

I think Roger Federer's magic number is 20 slams. At least if he can reach that, he prob will call it a career.

He's about the only young player coming through at the moment causing problems for the top 4. Murray should have won that match though, given he was 4 - 1 up in the final set and also had 2 matchpoints. H2H now 2 -1 in favor of Raonic.

Milos loses in the final!
Caught the match on the tele. The better player definitely won. Milos' second serve was faster than the Japanese players first, but he wasn't anywhere near quick enough or precise enough in his ground game. Milos' had his serve broke only twice during the tournament, but was broken three times in the last set. The Japanese player was playing like the tapes were 6 inches wide, hitting them over and over and over.
