Sean Connery but I like Daniel Craig as his best successor.

Bell Lightbox will have an exhibit of James Bond Films this month.

1. Sean Connery (The quintessential Bond)

2. Daniel Craig (A distant second)

3. Peirce Brosnan (Should have been cast instead of Dalton originally)
4. Roger Moore (A little too cool...)

5. Timothy Dalton :frusty:
6. David Niven
7. George Lazenby

Having said that, I LOATH Lazenby for totally ruining what is easily the best plot. (Based on the books of course...)

Ooops, I goofed, wow. So no favorite bond or movie. I'm surprised Pekkerneck didn't jump all over it with his usual gusto.
Favourite Bond is a tough one, I guess I'd go with Sean Connery, although I like most of them except Daniel Craig. I prefer the old style Bond with the gadgets etc. Not crazy about the "reboot". Diamonds are Forever wasn't one of the better ones but it's a sentimental favourite since it's the first one I saw as a kid, and my first non-Disney movie.

I read once that Roger Moore was first choice for Bond by the producers but was tied up with The Saint so wasn't available for the Bond at the time. I used to love The Saint.

Being his nemesis, I have to go with Connery. He defined the role after all. Next is line is Craig, he plays it cool, in a brooding kind of way. Next is Lazenby. I think he could have made a decent Bond. Next is Brosnan, although he and Moore were a bit to over the top and laconic, almost mugging for the camera. Didn't really like Dalton at all. Hated Moore.
