I am an American voter and give Canadians a lot of credit for keeping up with us and the rest of the world.

Having listened to both the "Right" and "Left" talk channels on Sirius radio in my car (lots of hours on the road) ever since the Republican nomination battle began, with all the in-fighting, lies, fact spinning, etc,. amongst the Republicans, and then the same animosity and bullsh*t between the Republicans and the Democrats once Mitt seemed sure to be the Republican choice, I too can't wait to watch tonight's showdown!

I sure wish there were two better candidates running, though.

I think Obama will take the debate, hands down!

Probably. It's too bad that charisma plays such a large part in debates and elections.

I fear Obama is the Jimmy Carter of our time, and the consequences are going to be disastrous for Israel in particular and the Western world in general.

Oops, did I just become a "troll"?

What does that mean?
the analogy alludes to the weakness of Carter in the way that he was judged over the 444 Iran hostages. Some folk feel Obama is wishy washy on foreign policy, not a traditional US good friend of Israel and not prepared to deal with the Iran potential nuclear bomb in the making. If Iran does make a nuclear bomb, it could easily be said that Obama's presidency has been very much tainted. If Israel attacks Iran to destroy the nuclear facility against US wishes it will be a major rift that will certainly set the US political scene on fire. Remember, Israel attacked Iraq for the exact same reason. Ironic in that Israel has nuclear bombs including the very threatening neutron bomb.

We need to assess WHO has the nuclear technology.

Who do we trust with the bomb? I trust Russia....I trust the USA...I trust Canada with our nuclear prowess......I trust Japan.....I trust Israel....heck even India.......and others to be responsible with ownership!

I, and most countries do not trust North Korea and Iran with the weapons.....for GOOD REASON.

its that simple.

As to the debate....it's now over....

Romney brought the hammer down.

-----------------------------------------

PBS calls Romney the winner. Felt Obama was rusty!

FOX Calls Romney the winner, of course.

CNN. Calls Romney the winner. Democrats mad at Obama!

CTV. Calls Romney the winner

CBC says Romney outperformed.

CBS SAYS ROMNEY clear winner. No Democrats contend that Obama won.

NBC says Romney more engaging..long on ideas and vision. CLEAR winner.

ABC...ROMNEY AHEAD ON STYLE, ZINGERS, POLICY AND MUCH STRONGER PERFORMANCE.

WKBW New York ( Democrat State). Calls Romney the winner.

George Stephenopolous (Democrat) calls Romney a winner. BOTH CAUGHT TELLING FICTION.

Obamas tweet to Democrats.... Timid about his performance.

But at the DNC Obama recomitted his support to Israel.
