Buick Mackane, aren't you glad that we don't react like the Arab World? Fatwa for Buick, Fatwa for Buick.

Unlike standing on a soapbox and looking into Ford's backyard, apparently, it is illegal in France to peer into private property even if you are standing on public property. The Royals have launched a lawsuit (which might bring even more publicity to these photos).

A civil suit has been filed in the French Courts for Breach of Privacy. Now wouldn't it be splendid if French Prosecutors can be persuaded to also bring criminal charges.

By the way take a look at the first photograph to see from how far away the photographs were being taken!
You are salivating, aardie, try to control yourself. I find it amusing that the british are suing. Apart from my thesis that it is a carefully planned stunt by the company, I have a real hard time imagining what damages the british are suing for. For displaying a pair of small titties?? in France???????

Clearly the duke and duchess have an undeniable claim on Royalties for the pictures, but that should be the extent of it. Has the company hired Madam Kardashian as an advisor?

Paris
I think it sucks. Its not like she was tanning on a public beach or anything. They were in a private residence and relaxing in privacy. Or so they thought. Its basically a criminal act. If i took pics of my hot neighbour in her house/backyard and published them somewhere id be in big shit

Fiat justitia does do that.
Don't set your hiopes too high. You may have heard that the french had a revolution, where they treated their royals with a schocking lack of respect. You might think that the french as a nation are remorseful for that event, but on the contrary, they celebrate it.

On topic: The French have quite tough privacy laws, and they don't care what your station in life may be. This is as "slam dunk" a case as "slam dunk" can be. Better yet this seems to perfectly fit the criminal prosecution guidelines.

Furthermore: Seemingly your knowledge of nineteenth and even mid-twentieth century French politics is a bit lacking. French Royalism even today is a fairly strong political force, however given that it is split three ways that strength doesn't show well at the polls.

Exactly, they don't care what your station in life may be.
