I'm not bothered when someone disagrees with me as long as they stay with the substantive issues and articulate their position in a calm, rational and civilized manner.

My boss told me that if we two always agree on every single issue then there is no need for two of us. Hence, I try to occasionally disagree with him in a respectful, rational and unemotional manner. Only losers resort to personal attacks and insults.

... but then some just need a good poke in the eyed with a pointed stick, just to get their attention. Tell me if I'm wrong, but you and FAST aren't alien to slinging epithets now and then. Don't try and sound so indignant. Something about stones and glass houses comes quickly to mind.

BTW. Woodpecker fulfills my desire to hear American left-wing views lol... I should've mentioned him earlier. I dont post in those threads bc my knowledge is limited but i like reading them a lot. There are so many others though......

TOP posters that I miss: Pool, Kayla, revolver, Pistol Pete, Apoc, Airboss, Ref (And the guys who talked me into getting into this world back in the day.... (in a non-sleezy way lol)

#1 Jennifer...... Always great things to say, alot of things brought up that you would not think of, positive and is truly a nice person. She is by the way the top girl in the GTA when seen live.

#2 Have to include a male - so how about Simon 482 - the truck guy. He can always make me laugh.

#3 Mrs Coloki..... same reason, can always make me laugh.

Agreed. I've learned a lot from the women who post and I am eternally thankful to them. I also learned from being one of the most argumentative, opinionated, balls to the wall kind of posters... Probably why I have a gentler posting style now.

I remember when dinosaurs roamed the Earth (or was that when dial-up dictated the internet) and all of that malarkey (just kidding... sort of...)... There truly were not many women who would post regularly, and do so openly. Kayla, Lyla, Sasha Jones, Dana, Samantha Jones, Allison... I miss some of their posts very much and they were here when I first looked in or close to that time. Of course as time went on the number of women posting spiraled larger and larger and that brought Miranda, Luv4Lust, Kiarra, Daisy, Siobhan, Lovely Laura, Sexy Sophia, Amber, Lisa of Toronto, LFL, Astra, Astrid, Morgan, Creole Kitten, etc. etc. (I know I am missing a lot of them but to list them all might have me here for an hour!)

Without some of them I might not be the person I am now. Some of them I adored. Some I still find my eyelid twitching over. ;) At the end of the day though... They all contributed to the forum. Some of them fought very hard to surpass the "why is a woman posting on a review board" mentality and for the most part... That is gone, or at least limited.
