You'd have to look at the polling, my assertion was that the act isn't popular.
As I said, you tried to pull that one before. Some of that dissatisfaction was because it didn't go far enough. Nothing like trying another nuttyboi math trick and bunch to different groups, with different opinions, together to make them look stronger.

I'm not familiar with the polling, but we should all be careful how we analyze the results (particularly us Canadians, given recent events).

Some of the people who are dissatisfied because they don't think the legislation went far enough could still be problematic for Obama. If some of those people are dissatisfied with other measures, as well, they could sit on their hands on election day.

Voter turnout is as important as how people intend to vote.

If they sit on their hands then they should be ashamed and stfu.

obamacare isnt constitutional, the chief justice who was the tie breaker rationalized it by saying the fine is a tax when obama and his administration said it wasnt a tax over and over again. besides the power to tax isnt unlimited, the govt cannot force its citizens to buy something this is a very dangerous precedent there is no checks and balances on the u.s. govt now. the supreme court has approved many laws that are unconstitutional for liberals and conservatives it goes to show you the majority of the justices are corrupt or incompetent. besides being completely unaffordable for a bankrupt country, obamacare is going to drive up the cost of insurance bc young and healthy americans will not buy insurance, they will pay the penalty and cancel their insurance, when they eventually get sick they will buy health insurance bc now that has been made legal. this means that those who have health insurance are going to pay much higher premiums

The Supreme Court of the United States disagrees with you, and, unfortunately for you, the Supreme Court is authoritative in this matter, whereas you are not.
four judges on the supreme court agree with me, the tie breaker rationalized it by calling it a tax, which obama said it isnt! . besides that, if you read the constitution that kind of taaxation is unconstitutional. obama says its a penalty, john roberts the tie breaker says that is unconstitutional!

In other words, the Supreme Court ruled that it's constitutional, and you are wrong in your claim that it is not.

if the supreme court was abunch of 3rd graders would it matter what they say? the constitution is in plain english, do you have any idea how libertarian and right wing the founding fathers were? america revolted against the english bc of taxation and big govt, you are fuckin clueless bro. the supreme court has made many bad decisions, their ruling, what they determine is constitutional or not doesnt mean thats reality. the founding fathers would be disgusted with present day america, the reality is obamacare is unconstitutional, and its not gonna work for the reasons I outlined in an earlier post. but don't you worry when the u.s. economy thats 16 trillion in debt comes crashing down you will get a reality check

I guess the supreme court's only supreme when you agree with it.

I agree that the founding fathers would be disgusted but that would be mostly about the role that god and religion have in the functioning of the state.

Since the supreme aren't a bunch of third graders, your point is? The founders would be pissed at the US today as slavers are chattel, not are women and both have the right to vote. Reality is the USSC has ruled that Obamacare 'is' constitutional. So now you have decided what US laws to accept and which ones not to. Why stop with you, let's have every do that now. Why not let every drink what they want and drive, beat their kids if they are so inclined. Now, if you want to change the constitution go for it. It's been changed 20+ time to suit values of the day that didn't fit the initial values of the founders. Yes, the USSC has made some mistakes, but also got it right a great many more times.

Oh, just a simple question, where did you get your law degree, Phoenix? Or you experience in Constitutional Law?

where did the 5 justices that rubber stamped obamacare get their law degree? if you can't see the farce in what john roberts did than you got problems. it should have been a 5-4 in favour of striking it down. the liberal justices who supported this bill dont give a damn about the constitution they obviously let their own personal belief's guide their decision. how can you call the penalty a tax when the govt itself is adament its a penalty. take a look at this in another light, the u.s. govt has just passed a law ordering its citizens to buy something or face what obama calls a penalty, do you not see the danger in this? obama just passed one of the largest middle class tax increases in american history, 20 new hidden fees & taxes on those earning less than 250k a year. the individual mandate itself is a penalty not a tax. only those with a liberal agenda who actually don;t care about the constitution bc basically everything they stand for is unconstitutional support it. medicare, medicaid, social security...all unconstitutional so what the heck do they care....and yes even the patriot act, republican administrations are just as guilty bush started an unconstitutional war but we aint talking about that we are talking about obamacare im not biased mafucka

As one Justice has famously said, the Supreme Court doesn't have the last word because it is right, it is right because it has the last word.

Proof you're a lazy SOB, as you could easily look it up and actually learn something useful. All presently sitting judges, even the four you aren't calling names went to Harvard, Yale, or Columbia. Heard of them? You really are little more than a Ron Paul arm puppet.

Again, where did you get your law degree?

the fed chairman ben bernanke has a PHD in economics, taught at princeton for years, everything he predicts is wrong, is totally clueless, there are many like him whats your point? you need to know there are many incompetant people who graduate from these ivy league schools. all these universities are taught by radical socialists, don;t you know obama went to harvard? go youtube his professor he has videos online rambling about how obama needs to not be re elected bc he is not socialist enough. the fact that obamacare is so blatantly unconstitutional proves how you should take these justices credentials with a grain of salt. since you are so brainwashed by credentials there are many with law degrees that say its unconstitutional, anyway you don;t need a degree to understand the constitution

You really are getting to be bloody annoying. Your point is that the Supreme Court members are a bunch of clueless fools, but that somehow you can go to the heart of the Constitution and interpret it better? You're making a fool of yourself, but I suppose you're comfortable in that role by now.

4 justices wanted to strike it down...even a black judge that should mean something to you liberals lol. you ppl are acting like an overwhelming majority of scholars etc agree with the law. if you really believe the founding fathers who wrote the constitution would agree with obamacare you are crazy, they were the original tea party. they wrote the constitution and the supreme court has failed to uphold it time and time again.

The founding fathers wouldn't agree with alot of things in our society, including a website devoted to promoting sex providers, Mr. multiple shots on goal. They were men of their time. They had the wisdom to be broad enough in how they wrote the Constitution, realizing that new generations would interpret it depending on their times. This document is not an edict written in stone. It is meant, and was meant, to be able to adapt to the times of the day. It doesn't matter if they would personally approve of us or not. I think many of them would be proud that democracy is still an evolving process.

no thats b.s. , that has nothing to do with what we're talking about human's have been "sinning" since the beginning of time. the constitution was written to keep the govt from growing out of control not to rob citizens of their liberty by forcing them to buy insurance or w.e else the govt wants them too. the fact youve said something like that proves you know nothing of the constitution. anyway, heres a video of one of the queens of the democratic party saying the individual mandate is a penalty which it is, according to the supreme court thats unconstitutional:

Boyo, I have no idea who you are or where you live, but I'm increasingly getting the impression that you're a clueless bastard. I'm not alone here, I think most everyone else here would agree with me, if not all.

Hmmmm......if I'm not mistaken the legislative branch of the US government vetts and approves nominees for the Supreme Court correct? Which means ultimately that representatives as voted by the people chose the present court.
Sounds democratic to me.
Disagree with the decision fine. But don't blame just the court. The reps you voted for ultimately put them in.
Disagree based on your opinion of the policy.
