What is wrong with to-day's young women? (This is my 4th young women incident in the past 2 years.) I was riding my bike and minding my own business when this white stretched limo pulled up beside me. A young woman poked her head out and said: "Sir, you forgot something!". I asked: "What?" In a voice loud enough to be heard by everybody on the street she yells: "You forgot to blow me:Eek:!". Then the limo pulled away.

Normally you blow a guy, go down or eat out a woman. What a Dumas.

Mid 90's I was in downtown Hamilton walking from the shoe store and some skank in a convertible said something about my weight and said I should exercise. Which was rather ironic considering I was WALKING and she was driving.
In St John's I was walking with this dude and some douchebags [male] stopped the car and started calling us faggots for some odd reason. This would be early 90's.
A few years ago in downtown Hamilton on vacation someone threw a half full bottle of water at me but missed.
I've had people randomly scream at me.
Had one dude around 2 or 3 in the morning in downtown Hamilton [mid 90's] try to run me over. No clue who he was or why, perhaps he thought it was funny, maybe he was some Canada-man type trying to stick it a "white devil".
One person in my car in the early 90's screamed out some "hey baby" type stuff to a chick on a cross town arterial. I was very temped to pull over and let him walk/face the person he yelled at, but instead just told him off.

Not just women, not just today. People act mighty brave when they are in cars.

People wonder why I am such a misanthrope.

Wow. You probably have experienced an above avg amount of harassment. That's too bad.

To be honest that's not too bad. They weren't picking on you for your looks, race or something obvious. They didn't physically hurt you. and the joke wasn't mean spirited.

I've had racial slurs hurled at me.

I find it curious that most of the experiences you described above took place in Hamilton during the 90's.

I didn't have access to a car back when I lived in Hamilton for 4 years. Walked everywhere to the point of getting Plantar Fasciitus. Elsewhere I mostly drive. As for the water bottle incident, when I go back on vacation I do like to walk around downtown. It might be a dump but there is something charming about it.

Story of my life. Based on certain experiences I am inclined to believe that I must have a target on my back or a giant tattoo of an L on my forehead that everyone else can see.

Don't take this the wrong way but you sound like a sad sack.

Heck even the way you responed to a post I once made towards you..... can't remember what it was but you came off as sensitive.

Even your online name. Why draw attention to being overweight (I think you mentioned it in apost once).

Maybe I'm wrong. But I mean this in the sincerest way. Find some positive stuff to focus on you sound down in the dumps.

I know it's not realistic for someone to just one day decide that they aren't going to be unhappy or depressed or whatever. Maybe talk to someone.

I just think we live in a culture of disrespect and it's fostered or supported by the internet and reality TV culture.

I don't really care about this kinda stuff. I remember walking down the street one time with a friend of mine when a couple of 16 or 17 year old boys called us "faggots" from their convertible. As fate would have it, they hit a red light 2 seconds later and we got to walk right past them while they were stuck behind 10 cars. Both of us are pretty big guys, to see the look on their face as we walked by was priceless. They were just some scrawny high school kids, probably the first time they got to drive a car by themselves, so I let them off easy. All I said was "Nice Nickleback shirt", then we laughed and walked away. Boys will be boys, girls will be girls. It's better to just not look to much into it, they'll all grow up eventually.

prom season?
Yes probably prom season, white stretched limo and she looked about that age. My concern was that we were on a busy street and onlookers might get the wrong impression (bearing in mind her age). She actually tried to make contact a bit earlier but I ignored her. When she persisted I actually thought something fell off my bike.
Four young women incidents in 2 years makes me think young women just like to tease men who are their father's age.

She might have had a couple of drinks too.
She's probably testing her limits, to flirt or talk to the opposite sex-a man.
I'll have to check out your other related posts.

I think everyone has experienced bad things happening to them. Me too.
-Some were drunk assholes.
-Some were mentally deranged.
-Some were just incidents and accidents.

You can't focus on the negatives.
