Yeah, and the public will blame the car-drivers again. Like they blamed Michael Bryant when he killed that cyclistWhat happened here is very wrong but it was bound to happen.
Bikes, as an example, don't respect the rules of the road. They weave in and out of cars. Pass stationary cars waiting for red lights pushing to the front putting cars at fault should anything go wrong.
This is the first of many such situations that will happen this summer. One major attitude problem
I suggest you hit the road, my friendI'm suggesting you Curb your Enthisiasm
Ah yes, because the cabbie has an Islamic-sounding name, he must be a terrorist. That thought came easily to you, didn't it?so the Al Qaeida has found a new tactic? taking out citizens, one skate boarder at a time
Right wingers are going to root for the hard working entrepreneur who served up his own brand of justice, lefties are sticking with the poor young man who couldn't afford TTC fare but scored big-time with women.I'm sure the lefties on board are probably wondering if this Muslim immigrant cabbie is going to get a "fare" trial.
Nobody is rooting for anyone, brah. Two lives were ruined today.Right wingers are going to root for the hard working entrepreneur who served up his own brand of justice, lefties are sticking with the poor young man who couldn't afford TTC fare but scored big-time with women
Nope! Nor, in most cases, do they care.No reason to deliberately run him over or crush the guy to death of course but FFS, do these idiots not recognize the consequences of the risks they take?
ya. lots of western juries will be sympathetic to a Muslim that invoked violence and caused death...sure.....If I were cabbies lawyer I'd go for the "he insulted my muslim religion" angle. Skateboarder made fun of Allah, I lost it and ran him over in a fit of rage.
He'll probably get 10 years with a sympathetic jury, serve 7 yrs with good behaviour and that'll be the end of it
If there's a lesson in all this, perhaps everyone needs to chill out and watch their road-rage
Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand wordsSaw a report on CFTO news that had a witness describing the skateboarder coming up on the back of the car, banging aggressively on the back window of it. Said the driver seemed to want to get away from him but then swerved into him where the cab knocked down the skateboarder and ran him over.
Another report I heard said the skateboarder was earlier riding in the main lane of traffic on King St.
The report also said that Toronto By Laws state that skateboards are actually supposed to be on the SIDEWALK and NOT on the road. They are not considered vehicles as they do not have brakes.
No reason to deliberately run him over or crush the guy to death of course but FFS, do these idiots not recognize the consequences of the risks they take?
If appearances mean anything to anyone here is the guy.
Most definitelyIn the same vein though - cyclists ride like idiots, pedestrians cross like blind jackasses - complete with walking and texting, and skateboarders are one other moving mess to look out for
So the guy got acquitted on BS charges. Who is gonna give him the year of his life back and cover his several hundred K in legal bills? Meanwhile the former AGO did not get even CHARGED!!!! Perhaps you need to remove your head from your ass. As far as I can tell, even rising to the level of fucktard would be a difficult goal for you to attain. I hearby suggest you contact the Fucktard W HUYA chapter immediately.
As usual, you are demonstrating what a fucktard you are.
All that is known that there is a dead skateboarder and the cops have witnesses that say the cabbie ran him down and he has been charged with 2nd degree murder.
Another nobody who was charged with a ton of offences related to bomb making and branded as a terrorist was just acquitted of all charges.
As are hundreds of people every day who are not former Attorney's General.
