You can't teach a pig how to sing & dance. All your attempts to do so will be futile, and you'll just make the pig miserable
You contemplate the strangest things. Who would want to teach a pig to sing and dance? What do they do when you not in the room? Only an idiot would try. Let alone that it has little to do with the facts in this thread.

I wasnt stating that natural or homoepathic remedies are the answer nor a cure...i was stating that it is an option and because everyones body is different, each persons reaction to things would be different...its just an OPTION if you feel that it works for you...

i have treated many things with natural remedies, which arent just placebos or sugar water...the native americans have used herbs, plants and healed many afflictions (not all) successfully...

as cancer does run in my family, i have a high risk of getting it...i have thought about the path i would take if i did get diagnosed with it...i would try the natural path (as there has been cases of people curing it naturally) first...if that didnt work then i would re-assess things and research pharmaceutical options...which isnt crazy, it just is the right choice for me....

my statement was basically to state that there are other natural options, it is good to research and check the validity of pharmaceutical treatments and drugs and ultimately choose what is right for you as an individual...

this is a very touchy subject in the same realm as talking politics and religion and it comes down to each persons opinion and view...

knowledge is the ultimate power one has as an individual to make the best choices possible for themselves...and this thread has given all of us the opportunity to view other theories, opinions and views...
Comes down to opinions and views? WTF? What we're discussing is science! It is in no way comparable to debating politics and religion.

Well considering you knowledge of basic science and medicine as exhibited here is poor, your analogy should fall flat.

The cancer mans cure has never been put to the test by any legitimate study or has never been able to be repeat by others in 30 years. Ever wonder why?
I dont have to wonder, I know why.

You can't patent simple things like iodine or H2O2. So because there's no money in it, and these chemicals are relatively cheap, there's no incentive to run clinical trials regarding their efficacy.

But since you totally missed my analogy, I dont expect you to understand those simple economics either

You don't need to patent these chemicals to use them in verifiable tests. You'd think he would have incentive as it would get the court cases off his back and silence the calls of quack from others.

You have to run an extensive clinical trial which costs a few million dollars to prove whether a compound can cure cancer or not. Thats what the American FDA requires.

But when iodine (eg.) costs pennnies a day it would take you 30 to 40 yrs before you could recoup your money, or perhaps even longer. Plus you'd run into the problem of competing products which would further drive down your revenue

Who is this "he" you're referring to?? And which court cases are you talking about??
