Today a woman was telling me about something that happened to her when she was three. That kind of thing surprises me since I can only remember a few experiences from my childhood (like when I stepped in warm tar and walked in the house) but I don't remember what age I was when they happened. I remember my mom not being too happy about it. Just curious if other people have good recall of their life when they were small.

I have certain events that stand out in my mind from when I was a toddler. Like seeing a certain horror movie (specific scenes I can still remember), and being horrified while I slept. Other more pleasant memories exist as well: certain foods I enjoyed (and the bowls / plates I ate them in), programs I watched, etc.

I've got a great memory ;)

Who says her story isn't fabricated?

I was around when Jesus Christ had his moment of doubt and pain.
I stuck around St. Petersburg when I saw it was a time for a change

I have a very good photographic memory... I have memories from about 2 years old. I remember my mother breast feeding my little brother, who is a year and half younger than me. I also remember being creeped out by a certain well-know musician's music video, (a musician whose name I will not mention here as it'll give away my age) :)

Other than that... I still have vivid memories from the first day I was sent away to boarding school to start kindergarten and onwards.

In kindergarten I exchanged a star wars figure with a kid... Everything was fine until the kid lost his newly acquired figure and started crying. The teacher asked why he was crying and he said he had lost his figure. The teacher asked: where is it? The kid pointed his finger at me... The teacher had me return the figure which we had previously exchanged.

I didn't say a word. I'll never forget my own silence, but it was a lesson learned.

Do you remember the lesson? If so, what was it?

When I was three, my best friend shit in our backyard because it was too far to walk home, (about 12 houses down), I told my mom, and she made him take it home in a paper towel.

I can remember snippets of life when I was 1.5-2 years old of many different daily events that happened. Many of the events are clear, like they happened yesterday. Playing with a favourite toy on a coffee table. Satring up at the phone on the wall, outside of the kitchen, by the door of the apartment. Flying a kool-aid kite with my dad and brother in the back of the same apartment. Daily things like hiding in my parents closet and my mother "finding" me, a certain family gathering, where my younger cousin was crying and then put in my bed to sleep. These events all happened in the same place and my family moved when I was 2, from an apartment to a house and I have starting memories from that point as well.
