Good God is the latest series from Canadian funny man Ken Finkleman, writer-director-star of previous series The Newsroom, More Tears, Foolish Heart, Foreign Objects and Good Dog. Finkelman uses his alter ego character George Findlay in all of his series.

Good God's description: George agrees to run a right-wing television network owned by the father of his socialite girlfriend.

Finkleman's humour is very dark, acerbic, and politically incorrect. If that appeals to you, check it out tonight.

It's the first episode, and billed/ promoted as the series premiere. It's quite possible that some of the episodes may have been prereleased for on demand. If you've seen the show already, is it good?

It looks quite similar to The Newsroom -- or am I missing something?

Similarities to The Newsroom: Ken Finkelman as writer/ director/ star, playing the George Findlay character, TV news setting.

Differences: Different supporting cast, private, right-wing Fox News type environment, with appropriate staff for this type of station.
