Sorry, I guess I had a type instead of writing "plank on the grill" I meant "plank on the grill". And by grill I obviously mean a charcoal grill!

Treat yourself and try using an ALDER WOOD plank instead.

A very simple salting
Rub rub the Salmon with Olive Oil
Sprinkle it with Dill Weed, Taragon and a thing coat of honey

Kinda limits me.

It's not much of a recipe but a piece of salmon covered with a light coat of dijon mustard and then a little brown sugar sprinkled over the top, cooked on a cedar plank of the grill, is a pretty fine dish!
So I have a story about salmon. Not a recipe but a wonderful tale of how I became to enjoy salmon and the found memories the fish always brings me.

Since I have a sea-food allergy, I have just stayed away from fish products altogether. However, my love-able asshole {better hon?} is a bit of a health freak and decided to make salmon for himself while BBQing for me a steak on one of our Saturday Night Specials. Too much red meat and all that jazz.

So I decided to try a piece and it was pretty good. So on to our next Saturday Night Special {it is a repeat date we have often} I decide to go for broke and have him cook me a salmon meal instead of my usual steak.

I fell in love. So simple but oh-so-good. I request it all the time. Don't remember when I have steak last to be honest.

Nothing like getting a meal made for me to perfection and then an evening filled with hours of sex, toy shows, strip shows, multiple orgasms, etc.

Now every time people talk salmon, I think of my love-able asshole and our new take on the Saturday Night Special.

Another great Salmon recipe for times when you can not grill

First of all never buy farm raised Salmon

Get a couple of 8 to 12 ounce fillets.

Next into a chafing dish add 3/4 of your favorite White Wine
3 tablespoons of fresh chopped or grated Ginger
pinch or two of Salt
1/2 pinch of Pepper
1/4 cup Raw Honey
2 Cloves of minced Garlic

Combine all ingredients and set Salmon in dish with them.
Cover with Plastic Wrap and set aside for 30 to 60 minutes, do not refrigerate.

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees

Remove wrap and bake for 20 minutes

Serve with your favorite veggies and the rest of the bottle of wine

Yes
you soak the overnight in water before you use the.
You are steaming flavor from them
