They also share opinions. Jezebel was pointing out how sex workers are viewed differently depending on someone's perspective and doing it in a humourous way.

I get the impression she's a very intelligent and playful person and we should encourage more thoughts from her. :thumb:

I didn't pay too much attention to your poster but did click on the larger version and the selection of other fabulous pics of you.

You certainly are quite the pin-up model (I'd like to see the pornstar side too one day he he).

I love the pink heels with little designs, pics or tats on them. I also like the electric blue heels with the upper white strips (you're wearing a blue and white bikini).

Lovely girl!

Wait.. are you saying you DON'T roll around in a bed full of money all day?

I'm so confused.

PS. Jezebel, you are hot, don't let the tattoo haters get you down!

How cum you call yourself a sex worker when you have so much fun doing it?

Maybe "playtime sweetie" would suit you better?
I call myself a sex worker because I am a sex worker. SEX is my work, my career and my job. Is it not okay for me to like my chosen and self-built career? Do you like your job? I think it is okay to like your job, in fact, it is fucking excellent.

Sex work is a job. I like my job. I feel it is a good job, a safe job, a fun job and a rewarding job... but hey, at the end of the day, I still put the "job" in blow job.

Pretty much everyone I meet outside of the industry, assumes I am not a sex worker and also assumes a million things about this industry that aren't correct. So often in my daily life I find myself in situations with civilians where I need to pretend I am not a "sex worker" in order to not have to deal with social scrutiny or feeling like I am under a microscope. When I am actually doing sex work itself, this is the last place I feel I should have to pretend I am not a sex worker.

Can you give me another example of a profession where the argument, "don't call yourself a worker if you enjoy it" would make any sense?

I would prefer that my professional status as a sex worker would bring comfort and a sense of openness to those who wish to share an encounter with someone who is extremely experienced, talented, open-minded and loves what they do! There are reasons that many men chose to hobby rather than date. There is beauty in this exchange of sex/power/money/intimacy. For me it is about intention, time and tribute. How we all work to survive, how we go about shaping our lives around producing income is unique. I am pretty satisfied with my methods.

I associate "work" as being the opposite of "play" but you've made good points about the two also being able to overlap.

In my case (check out my site for example) a lot of "work" goes into administering the "play" part. Which if I count the hours, the actual play time is only about 15-25% of my "work" hours.

Cool poster. Lately I've been seeing different versions of that poster for various jobs and activities.

Must be an emerging meme/trope/theme.

Pardon my ignorance but can someone tell me the difference between "what my mom thinks I do" and the "what society thinks I do" pics?

Actually, the only one I really get is the "what I think I do" pic which is she thinks she is a doctor or consultant.

Thanks.
