What is connection between "The White Shadow" and "St. ElseWhere"?
this is really a vague memory now..but I do seem to recall the actor who played one of the black kids on the basketball team on White Shadow (a tall big guy - don't remember actor or character's name - Jackson maybe?) reappeared as an orderly on St. Elsewhere?

The letters nsf appear together in many words, e.g transfix, transfer, etc.
This question is: What words contain the letters nsf together, but do NOT contain transf?
English language words only, of course.
townsfolk...can't think of anything else atm
I'm assuming the similar word would be kinsfolk. Can't think of the other one.
Correct!
Still one more to go. Clues? The word, and its meaning, are familiar to all. It's in heavy dictionaries, but not light ones. Plus, it has derivatives, in the same way that 'knife' has the derivatives 'penknife', etc.

How did rum get its name?

Answer :

When the Spanish arrived in Cuba and Jamaica they did not find any grapes or fruit suitable to make wines. There was a lot of sugar cane which was used to make alcohol. The name rum is from the Latin ( Spanish disambiguation ) word for sugar, sucrum. Which was later shortened to rum.
