Tony Burrows who sang for The Brotherhood of Man, White Plains, and Edison Lighthouse in 1970 as well as a few other bands.

Well done, Brill!

In late winter/early spring 1970, Burrows appeared three times, (lip synched), on the same episode of Top of the Pops, as a member of Edison Lighthouse, performing Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes), White Plains, (My Baby Loves Lovin'), and Pipkins (Gimme Dat Ding), all of which were top 15 hits in Canada, US, and UK between January-April, 1970. It's likely that the Edison Lighthouse appearance was a repeat of the January 29, 1970 live performance, which also appeared on the February 5, 1970 edition, (I have video files of those two shows from torrents).

On the January 29, 1970 TOTP, Burrows had been the first to perform twice on the same episode in different acts, [Edison Lighthouse and Brotherhood of Man, (United We Stand)]. In 1974, he also sang Beach Baby, as a member of First Class.

You're on the right track, but we need more information. The woman's name is Catherine Evelyn Smith, but what's her connection to Lightfoot?
