Won ton soup, not the one that they make 5 hours before you arrive at the Canadian style Chinese food places. The ones that they make for you when you order with paper thin noodles and shrimps in it.
You can get the real won ton soup at Chinese restaurants where Chinese people eat.
ofcourse... but i'm sure not all of them make them right when you order with paper thin noodles and shrimp in it... i'm sure many make them 5 hrs before any customer arrives.
If the noodles are paper thin, they have to make it to order. The thin noodle falls apart if it is in liquid too long. The Canadian style won tons have thick bloated noodles because they were made hours before and sat in a pot all that time. I was told the same thing about dim sum, they have to be made 20 - 30 minutes before being served, the steamer will cause them to fall apart. I suspect the dim sum places will make you won ton soup to order.
Mcdonalds grilled chicken and fries - I had it today and still feel guilty but gawd - s0 g00d.....
James, it was an after an outcall nearby with a fave (Chloe Chroft), that I had to have something and saw The Big Slice at that corner. Surprisingly, it was thin and pretty good.
Ah yes - the perennial favourite. You can have one up to 3 am on the weekends, so even after a visit to your favourite SC or late night MP.

BBQ pulled pork - I've made it a couple times in my slowcooker and it was pretty good. First time I had a pulled pork sandwich was a few years ago in Nashville and it was amazing. Anyone know where to get a really great one in Toronto?

I make my own as we.. Use pork tenderloin and put it on a crunchy baguette or ciabatta bun.
