And the bad news for you is...Harper just won a majority. Welcome to democracy.
And Hamas one in Gaza. Welcome to democracy. Now, since you support democracy, I bet you'd support a referendum in the West Bank on whether they want to be occupied. If they choose no, Israel leaves. You know, just like Indonesia did in East Timor. Is Israel more of a democracy than Indonesia? Or how about Sudan....didn't Sudan hold a referendum on independence for South Sudan? We don't want Israel held to a different standard, do we?

I don't have a problem with the fact Hamas won an election.

But occupations, are never ended by referendum.

South Sudan is an excellent example. The referendum occurred as the outcome of a negotiated comprehensive peace agreement. I would love to see Abbas and the Palestinians at the table trying to achieve a comprehensive peace agreement. Then perhaps we could have the framework for a referendum.

We don't want to hold Palestinians to a different standard now do we?

You are right about Occupations not ending by referendum. Occupation are by their nature anti-democratic. They rule by brute force. By violence, especially in the case where they don't have any consent of the occupied or they plan on exploiting the occupied. A referendum is peaceful and connotes respect for those making a democratic choice. At the heart of a referendum is respect for human rights and dignity.

But, in the age of universal human rights, you can't rule by force. Gaddafi learned and Israel will learn.

You are so funny. I see you ran like a little chicken away from your Sudan example. Put your foot in that one didn't you Ernst.

How about a prediction. When will Israel learn and who is gonna school'em?

Israel will never learn and their is no one to school'em. Name one "developed" or "democratic" country that can show some teeth to Israel.
This is like a whore, who is blackmailing all the elites, because she either sleeps with them or knows their dark secrets.

Many Americans care about this due to some biblical interpretations. Americans as a whole are pretty religious, and many believe that Israel must be populated by the Jewish people in order for the second coming of Christ (and the end times) to occur. A bit spooky, but there you go.

A referendum in the West Bank--and Gaza!--on whether they want to be occupied would be great. It should of course be a real question, establishing a Palestinian State, allowing for the return of Palestinian refugees to Palestinian territory, and recognizing Israel along the negotiated borders. That would be great!

Ran away from Sudan and the issue of referendums and occupations? You are not a sophisticated reader.
Both Sudan and Indonesia act at a much more sophisticated level than Israel. They have shown much more wisdom and a true desire for peace than you will ever see from the racist fantasy that is Israel today. Unlike Sudan and Indonesia, Israel's commitment to peace is non existant.

Israel is too greedy, too racist, too cowardly, and too stupid to adhere to any outcome of a democratic referendum. Unlike Sudan and Indonesia.

My prediction? Israel will consume itself. Thanks to apologists such as yourself.

Prediction noted.

How about until then you stop whining since you think that outcome in inevitable?

Most Americans I know say fuck the Jews and fuck Israel.

Well I guess the American government likes the taste of isralie cock.

When people don't have the means of seeking medical attention and see they're money being pounded in foreign aid to Israel which is nothing but aiding terrorists, they will be pissed and left with a hopeless feeling of pain.

Many Americans think this way except for the hilbillys from the south. Uneducated pieces of shit.

you must hang out with a strange crowd.

Most opinion polls show support for Israel at near record highs amongst the US population, with support around 63% for Israel and about 17% for palestinians in that conflict.

In this case it looks like the government policy reflects the majority and a long historic plurality or majority opinion...

What do you need the KKK for when you are the modern incarnation of them, Ernst Zundel/Fuji?
Hey...easy on the Fuje, he is busy preparing his defense for the upcoming unprovoked attack by Israel on Iran for the crime of wanting what Israel already has....nukes.

Whereas you are willing to wait for the unprovoked Iranian nuclear missile attacks on Israel and then will post saying they deserved it.
