Tranquility Base, La Luna
No idea who he is, but it wasn't him.
Alberto de Santos was an Italian aristocrat who became an aviator in the early days of flight. He complained that he had a hard time getting to his traditional pocket watch and commisioned Cartier to make him a timepiece he could wear on his arm. They came up with the first wristwatch, the De Santos.
This is the story I heard as I have one.

it wasn't him, it was Blaise Pascal, mathematician and philosopher:

The first fully portable timepieces began to appear in the early 1500s, but they were so inaccurate, they only needed one hand: for the hours. Watches made in subsequent years were carried in a specially made box, worn as a pin, or suspended around the neck by a chain or cord. Watches specifically adapted to the wrist made rare appearances as early as the late 1500s.

Early single hand ring watch, circa 1615.

Queen Elizabeth I is said to have worn one. One of the first people known to have worn a watch on the wrist was the noted French mathematician and philosopher Blaise Pascal (1623-1662). He attached his pocket watch to his wrist with cord. Queen Marie Antoinette also was known to have started a style of “wrist watch” by wrapping the gold chain of her lavaliere watch around her wrist instead of around her neck. She subsequently commissioned a diamond-encrusted “bracelet watch.” This new style went out along with her head.

Many things might be termed "interesting" about this nut. It depends what interests you. From my own personal perspective, I like the way it burns like a candle.
Very true, but there is one specific thing that is unique to Brazil nuts that I am thinking of

Again, many things are unique to the Brazil nut (for example, no other nut is named after the largest South American country). I think your question needs to be more specific.

If my question was more specific it would give away the answer so i am hoping people will throw out their little known facts or misconceptions about it and maybe hit on the answer I am looking for....

If that qualifies as a trivia question then here's mine:

What number am I thinking of?

I'll take a guess.
Just like a peanut is not a nut, the Brazil nut is not actually a nut?
One of the correct answers, it is actually botanically classified as a seed. But not the specific bit of trivia I am looking for,

Fair enough then...what about this article?

(I know, internet searches are not appropriate in a Trivia thread but I broke my own rule just this once)
10 points for the correct answer, but minus several million for Googling it...

Besides being a seed, not a nut. And the biggest producer being Bolivia.
Brazil nuts are the only nut (that we are aware of and has been documentd) where the allergen can be transmitted sexually, so be careful what you eat beforehand...
