Just goes to show that many of them are very stupid. In fact , most people with tattoos are nothing but followers anyway.

In sports today tat's are more about fashion then anything else. In mma alone within the last few years everyone has arm sleeve's. They do it cus a) They have the money now and can afford it b) They think it makes them look more fierce

Wrong kiddo. They are following their common sense. Face the fact that most people get tattoos to fit in to some stupid counter culture that they were brainwashed into thinking is 'cool'. They think and say they're only expressing their individuality but in reality are just 'following' others that have tattoos. More hilarious are the white folk that get what they call 'Tribal' tattoos cause when you ask them what tribe they're from they have no fucking clue because they never were part of one to begin with. :D

Idiots.

Similarly, it can be said that a lot of people without tattoos are following others who are too scared to get a tattoo because they are conformists and want to be seen being as far away from counter culture as possible.

Bullshit!

Steve, your generalizations are just as stupid and idiotic as the supposed people who you bash.

While there are some people who may indeed get questionable tattoos by following the current fashion, there are many people, including myself, who get tattoos which have a very deep personal meaning to them.

For the record, there is NO ONE in the world who will consider my tattoo to be in any way fashionable or counter culture, or in any sense "tribal".

I guess Melvin Costa had to put that thing on his belly because there wasn't enough room on his penis.

I just don't get the entire tattoo craze.Nothing more of a turn off than a good looking women with a tat.Especially a sleeve.I have been to Hawaii numerous times and so many good looking women their with tattoos, just don't understand it.I know what your going to say, they do it for themsleves not to attract guys. But women seem to be very fussy on how they look to the outside world. Can't imagine a women thinking she looks good going to a formal event with a sleeveless dress on and her arm covered in a tattoo sleeve?
I don't know.I really don't understand anything about tats.Just me rambling and I am sure everyone with a tat is gong to shit on me.

Often "different" people are among the most sheepleish.

You will never see someone showing up to a punk concert wearing a suit and tie, or at least almost never. I think it was Joey Shithead who said doing so would be punk, following your own rules and the like, but we all know the truth.
I knew one fellow who was all into dressing in black and suggested I go with him to an event until he found out that none of my shirts were dark enough and suggested I don't go.
Ditto for the Emu types and others. They all look the same.

I don't need to inject filth under my skin to prove how edgy or cool I am. If that is what it takes, fuck it.

Tattoos are permanent. The mind isn't. Anyone who injects filth under perfectly good skin is in denial of this. Never mind the lameness of desperately typing to be edgy and different.

Chances are though, a woman who likes to get a lot of tat's, would not normally be attracted to the kind of person who doesn't like tat's anyways.

Can't believe Fedor's brother's back tattoo of a grim reaper holding a baby didn't make the list.
I've just realized that he has recently covered the stars on his shoulders and knees which are organized crime symbols with some ornaments.

I believe Fedor's brother Aleksander spent time in a Russian Prison...And that's where he got his tattoos (or at least some of them)....

I can't remember what crime he committed.....but it was widely reported that Aleksander did have some links to organized crime....

And the stars kinda confirmed it, but now he got rid of it...

for those who care - the tattoos on his shoulders read:
Give me a return ticket to my youth -
I paid for this trip in full

yea....art is so dumb. I don't give a shit if you have a tat or not, and I certainly wouldn't presume to conjure some half-assed phsychiatric evaluation and apply it to all people who wear art on their skin. That would make me an idiot.

I predict that the offspring of the tattooed generation will defy and rebel against their parents by remaining inkless. In 30 years time, after the ink fades, the skin wrinkles and sags, and what was once art becomes a spoiled souvenir of glory days, elder ink will become a target of youthful derision and scorn.
