What is J. Edgar Hoovers secret?

No, it is not a secret the he likes SPECIAL AGENTS, or that he made new recruits bend over and yell F.....B.....Ahhhhhhhhhh!

Answer :

J. Edgar Hoover had a black grandfather.

Wikipedia:

Millie McGhee, author of Secrets Uncovered, J Edgar Hoover - Passing For White? McGhee states in her book that Hoover's grandfather was African American and the Hoover family lived in segregated Washington D.C. McGhee states in her book that Hoover was ashamed of his African American heritage and decided to pass as a white man.

One to go, shack. Kubek was a Rookie of the Year, but not a Blue Jay, (especially in the 1985 pennant race, when he would refer to the Yankees as "us")

Nice work so far. All eight played for the Jays. If there were any others that played spring training games only, or only coached, that wouldn't count.

I was at the game where Dave Righetti threw the ball over the right field wall at Exhibition Stadium as a Yank but I didn't recall his time with Toronto.

Gary Burghoff wanted out of M*A*S*H and was written out because he believed there were better opportunities. During the run of the original M*A*S*H no big roles came. He later did do the TV series After M*A*S*H, but the series was short lived. What type of work did Gary Burghoff do after his acting career?

Didn't he live with his mother for the longest time?

Or was it that he never arrested anybody in his life except for photo-opts. He was an administrator.

What Canadian made $1500 a night royalties for a tv theme tune, every night for decades?
Sorry if somebody already answered this. I'm going to guess Paul Anka, who wrote the theme song for Johnny Carson's nightly show, Here's Johnny.

Very, very, very COOL!

Man, you guys are bringing back memories.

I know a guy who's a distant cousin to Mickey Dolenz (that really should be 'Dolenc' which is Slovanian). MD has distant relatives here in Toronto.

Correct, with the Broadway cast of Oliver!

I can't determine if the Monkees were ever on Ed Sullivan, seems strange if they weren't.

I had the Monkeemobile Hot Wheels car.
