True, however, you have to hand to the show - the character of Janice was beautifully done. Completely vile and self centred and perfect acting.
I love that scene, Richie punches her in the face and she returns with the gun and puts one square in his chest without so much as a moment's consideration. No talking, no negotiating, just blam, square in the breast bone and one more for good measure (not like he was going to survive the first one anyway.)

He supposedly left cuz he was in love with Carmela but couldn't do anything about it. He wouldn't have had to leave if they hadn't introduced the attraction between Furio and Carmela in the first place.
Paulie was the sickest fuck of them all. I mean they were all fucking evil sociopaths (Tony as well), but Paulie was the worst.
