This clip is almost relevant to the subject at hand, in a "don't EVER call me Baby" kind of way. Still good for a giggle.

I think this is a great observation.. You are 100% correct.. Most "nice guys" would respect her decision, while any hotshot moron would take it as a challenge.. She'd end up sleeping with the moron, and losing respect for the nice guy.
If the hotshot is the one who gets to bang her and the nice guy is stuck playing with his pud, which one is the moronic one?

The truth is is that it she does it so she won't have to take responsiblity. If she wasn't interested in your cock she would not say anything about it. Do you think she says that to a male friend that she has no sexual interest in? You should take it as a compliment.

No I shouldn't take it as a compliment. It is rude offish and disrespectful. The thread was what turns me off. This does turn me off.
Now I accept in many ways us guys are conditioned like Pavlov's dog to roll over beg and salivate to what ever women think is appropriate but that is not what the thread is about. I suspect that other guys are also turned off by this. It doesn’t mean that we will cock block ourselves furthermore I would suspect when the time comes she will only get the porn star experience.
The point i also make is that next day when she doesn’t get a phone call or can’t keep a relationship she might want to revisit these sorts of turn offs.

I hear you man, but over time I've realized that a lot of civvy women just lack the confidence that comes with sexual experience. Some women are afraid of what the dynamics or consequences might be if she gives it up to you (i.e., establish a relationship beyond dating) because you know, you might be the one. I learned not to take civvy rejection to heart, but when the right civvy comes along who puts her trust in my cock (on a personal, not business, basis), I'll put my trust in her heart. Hobbying has certainly allowed me to master my will power to walk away from (or reject) a civvy who spreads her legs for me if I sense there is no long-term potential there (i.e., chemistry), out of respect for her. Emotional baggage is caused by guys who go in for the fuck regardless because of the opportunity. The worst thing you could do to a woman's dignity! :)

The more it happens the more they say these kind of phrases and the more it happens. It really is important for women to recognize what it is they are saying. maybe just give a little respect and the love might come back to them. If not don't take it out on the next guy. Emotional baggage is a self inflicted wound.

+3 to hun/hon, babe, doll, sweetie, and any other nickname that implies you've either a) forgotten my name b) are trying to get something from me or c) consistently speak in a condescending tone.

To be fair I don't think you can blame someone for something said in the heat of the moment... (Except "hun" - I can't think of a circumstance in which that wouldn't irritate me).

It bugs me when people put "Cheers" as their email signature. We're not out drinking.

Also, on Terb in oparticular, the reference to women who are not SP's as 'civilian.' That's just ridiculous. You're all civilians unless you're in the military.

When you ask a question starting with "Do you mind if ___?" and they answer "Ok", "Sure", or "Yeah ok". They mean "No I don't mind", but they don't realize that what they said means the opposite.
And I hate it when people type 'hun' and have troubles with people who type 'hon'. The contraction being used is meant to be short for 'honey' in most cases, so 'hon' is a more correct use. (I use 'hun' in reference to 'hunny', like in the Winnie The Pooh books)
