It lasted a year.

I was able to distinguish it as to me this is my job and source of income, for him it was personal. I have come to the conclusion that for as long as I am in the industry I can't have a normal relationship.

Yeah, there are other couples who met on a business relationship, which became personal. One girl I know has constant conflicts between business and personal life. She met her current BF while working as an escort. She's had this problem constantly over the years, it's recurring theme with her. She's currently having another relationship crisis and she's quit the business, yet again. It's not necessarily a "meet through TERB" relationship, but it's similar. I am surprised that she's still trying to retain both aspects of her life after all of these years. But really, it's a losing proposition if you don't give up the business at some point. This is just a business, sure, but it's a business that deals with personal activities, unlike other businesses.

I've known quite a few over the years. Some work, some don't but to be honest I do not think the working out or not would have changed based on the meeting place.

I guess that comes down to this:

When you wake up in the morning is the person beside you the one you want? Will they be who you want to be with in 5 years... How about 10 years? Do conflicts drive you apart or are you willing to fight to stay together? Can you accept each others pasts, and futures without forgetting that the person likely isn't exhibiting anything out of context for who they are keeping in mind the world you met in.

Longest lasting to date that I know personally - over 8 years that I know of and one in close second timeline wise.

I used to be "Vixen Vicky" from Hamilton, my husband used to be "Bavarian"- both of us got rid of our handles when I retired...I started this one 2 years ago so I can lurk...I am now seriously just looking to see if there are other couples that started out like us- meeting here on Terb. It's hard sometimes and I wonder how many other people out there have "made it" in a relationship with an SP.
