Good call.. but I never told him where to arrive . he told me he knew where I was and what the rate was.. I for sure did not see him after that....
I KNOW!!!!!grrrrrr..lolAmen.
And don't you love when they don't confirm, show up anyway, then blame it on you? That's a personal favourite of mine
not likley.. it should be common senseYou should implement a bonus system for promptness. Maybe an orifice upgrade after 3 prompt arrivals?
Read the 3rd post... NOTHING WAS EXCHANGED!!!! he just assumed and said he already knew.. he knew without me telling him..Maybe it's just me.
When I make an appointment with any other professional, it's ASSUMED to be confirmed once we've exchanged information and agreed on a date and time. I don't, for example, have to call my Dentist again the day of the appointment to ask if I'm still on the schedule.
In my professional life, I book meetings or get invited to attend others on a regular basis. Once the invitation and acceptance e-mails have been sent, it's ASSUMED that the appointment is on unless otherwise notified.
Sure, in the Hobby world, it's appropriate to call or text before showing up (this applies to both SP and client, depending on who is "in") . Certainly it's appropriate for one to advise the other if there's been a delay. If the appointment needs to be changed for some reason, it's only polite to notify the other part as soon as possible. However, how many times do I have to "confirm" my appointment?
If I make a date with a lady in advance (which i usually do) and she tells me the day-of that she's made other plans because I didn't "confirm" after all the plans were already made and agreed, I would consider her unprofessional and not seek to see her again.
not likley.. it should be common sense
not gonna happenIt is a marketing WIN / WIN situation. You get a client that will return for 4 visits minimum, and will arrive on time and maybe become a regular to collect the frequent flyer miles. These clients are more agreeable not to jeopardize their bonus upgrade.
