Safe List

Hi,

I am looking for opinions on this. I am thinking about compling a Safe List of Sp's and Mp's in this region and posting it up on my site. It would be based on my own experiences and the reviews that are available on here and other boards. I will only list assumed names and publicly avaiable contact information. Not sure how it would be received. I know the clients would probably appreciate this but the Sp's, I'm not so sure.

There are quite a few ladies in the area and lots coming through all the time. I think a Safe List would help a lot of newer hobbyists to aid pointing them in the right direction.

It would be a project I would manage on my own site and maintain. I have a good idea of who should go on it but any VALID suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, if you as an Sp or Mp would not want to be listed on the Safe List, please let me know by PM or e-mail and I will take the appropriate actions.

So, comments, your thoughts (ie. Pros and Cons), candidates. Do you guys and girls think this would a worth while thing to make?

Platinum.

Conflict of interest? You do kinda run a directory. You going to "unsafe" any of your clients? Or are they automatically "safe".

Nothing personal, but I have no idea who you are. You could be on the level, or this could be a business type situation for you! I tend to listen to the veterns on here that I have a certain amount of respect for as opposed to someone who is running an escort directory.

Just my thoughts!

How do you prove it? Some customers may get the cbj and think that's the norm, when others are getting pse on the ymmv factor. Why vouch for someone else?

I don't think he's talking about the more subjective or YMMV factors, but maybe more along the lines of non B&S, pimps, freak outs, upsellers... ect?

My aim is to make it harder for the scammers/spammers to take advantage of people. So I want to accomplish this by listing the known decent providers as a reference list. I aim to prove it by reviewing the reviews and using my own personal knowledge of the scene to compile a list which the general community would find agreeable.

Also as a listing service with a mission to only list decent providers without spammers and scammers, I think it makes a step towards that goal and provides something useful for the community. Again, this is in the idea stage at this point so feedback and opinions are certaintly welcome.

If this list is something terb would not let you post, would you stop advertising here? Then we would know you were really in it for the community and to not promote your site or your company.

I personally would not like all my info on a site where I have no ability to remove my information. If I did't want it on the site would people think that I'm unsafe because I'm not on the site? I completely understand the concept and it is a good one but I feel there would be a conflict of interest. No disrespect to you but I feel like that is why there is terb and someone runs terb without conflict of interest.

"Damned if I'm on the list. Damned if I'm not."

Is it true you've stopped beating your wife, Mr. Foxxx????

Please look directly at the jury as you reply.

Not a very fair question is it?

In fact, it's designed for you to suffer character damage no matter how you respond. lf you ignore it, you must still be beating your wife. If you, deny it, well.... that's exactly what we always expect from a wife beater.

In a way, you're creating a similar no-win situation for the ladies here, as the lovely Miss Allisha so rightly observes.

This issue is equally as important, or as disturbing, as the conflict of interest question.

Not a wife beater!! LOL!! But I see Artman's and Allisha's point. Conflict of interest, it could be but it may not be either. In my listing service, I won't list anybody before actually meeting them face to face or checking out their reviews and getting to know them better first. As well, I'm never going list someone like an Alexandra or other notable scammer in my profile service no matter how much they want to pay me, so I feel making a short list may be along those lines with what I am doing already.

To say I would do this without the hopes of improving my bottom line would be a lie. If I were to create this list, I would want the providers on it to consider it as an open invitation to taking a spot on our site. Not that I would expect them to do so, they need to make that decision, but at the same time, I would hope they would, but not necessary that they do. The list would summarize what a lot of veterans on this site or others already know and point out to others when they ask. To me, that could be helpful.

But as Allisha and Artman has pointed out could also be harmful. Which is why I am double minded about doing this. As much I do want to help good providers and clients make the connections easier, I do not want to inadvertently harm a decent providers business that we may not be aware of. Terb, ********** and other notable boards are all great resources, but lets face it, it's quicker to just goto a classified site and take a chance, right. Now if you have read my editorial on the Craigslist erotic ad shutdown, then you know how I feel about classified ad sites. The reason for me suggesting this is to compile a list that could be a viable alternative to the classifieds. As well I would put some due diligence tips on that page also so newer hobbyists can better make informed choices if they still decide to goto classfied ads.

Would it be better to compile an avoid list? That could be really harmful, especially to my health! LOL! But the point is what would be more useful to clients and providers. The scammers and spammers on those sites continue to increase everyday. Some of us are good at spotting them, some of us not so good. An additional resource may be something that can help. But I won't do it if it isn't something that people would want done. There are lots of sites propogating ads without peoples permission out there and I don't intend to become one of them.

Are you going to see each SP in the area a number of times to be able to vouch for there service and you can bet the scammers would be on there best behaviour for that appointment.

Maybe you could just post the scammers and spammers? Like Artmann said" Damed if I do" and "damed if I don't". You have a wonderful reputation and have been very helpful to everyone which I admire. You are an amazing resource. I personally have no wish to meet anyone and remain anonymous just for my own reasons. My concern is the conflict of interest. We all want to help our bottom line but in doing so could hurt my bottom line. Catch 22. Maybe you start another site (business)that has nothing to do with your own personal business. Let us advertise for free like dl and you weed out the scammers and spammers. Take on advertising for adult toys , clothes etc., to pay for it.

Here is a really stupid suggestion. I'm sorry..

What about a wiki? It will have histories, anyone can edit. People can add reviews. Prevents spams and self advertisements. Sp can add their contact or pic if they want to.

As well as a scammers list and info.
My 2 cents

When I meet, if it's an appointment, I don't make mention of PlatinumFoxxx, Terb or otherwise. Vouch for service, would be a little far off as that is YMMV as we all know. Make reasonable sure you are not going to get robbed, mugged or cheated is want the intent would be. When I do meet people, as PlatinumFoxxx, it's a non-physical meeting, and it's all business and reviews from there. Mostly I just contact the people that I am aware of and invite to join.

But I can see the safe list may not be such a good thing. Could you imagine a PlatinumFoxxx clothing line!!! LOL!! Shirts that say "I've gone Platinum!!" LOL!! That'd be hilarious, especially when they find out it's an escort listing website!!! Oh the look on those faces!!!! LOL!!!

|This is the stupidest idea you have come up with since you dabbled with the idea of setting up your own agency.
