Richard Dawkins : How to justify a genocide

Bible study group: Richard Dawkins describes how scriptures justify genocide.

Dawkins is just another militant, atheist douchebag who's trying to tell us all how to live our lives.

And he's wrong about religion starting most wars.
The vast majority of wars in the past have been fought over land, money, natural resources, politics and food/water

Where does Dawkins say how to live one's life?
When he tells us all what to believe in and not to believe in. Especially when he's being a militant douchebag about it.

And I dont understand why he's trying so hard to prove something that he believes doesnt exist. That would be liike me trying tediously to argue that Santa Claus isnt real. If he really believes Santa isnt real then why does he keep hammering on about it?! Doesnt make sense, does it

we keep porn, prostitution, sex, politics, alcohol away from children why should religion get a free pass?
The same reason that the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and Santa get a free pass?

isn't this strange when religious types preach hellfire and trash non-believers calling them immoral, depraved, etc nobody gives a damn but when an athiest react to thier hate speech and asking for physical evidence for thier religious doctrines people suddenly get angry. can we say "religious privilege"?

I always wondered why religion bugs Hitchens so much. Now I know: http://www.torontosun.com/comment/columnists/connie_woodcock/2010/12/28/16692376.htmlYeah, that'll do it
That article is terrible. Sad that this is even accepted by the editor.

As for Hitchens...
It is not relevant as to what might have happened to prompt him to question the existence of god and the terrible impact of religion.
His points of reason are exceptional and not a single person of faith has ever addressed those points. They simply puke up empty rhetoric and the masses gobble it down. They never actually address his points.

I think people are simply to scared to be accountable for themselves.

Thank god, god is dying. Sooner the better.

People with shit arguments do that. They defer, obfuscate and resort to personal attacks. These are all clear proof that the respondent has no answer to the issue raised.
Why then, when it is clear they do this, do people keep swallowing it? It baffles me.

I dont care much for the atheism vs. religion debate.
I just always wondered where he got his anti-religion obsession from. Now I know, its personal for him
