The quest is not over: 1 more inch to go!

After I lengthened my legs, I accepted that my height quest was over since surgical spine lengthening is not possible. But after getting an inversion table to maintain my height, I am starting to believe that it just might be possible to lengthen the spine after all (or at least regain the some 1/2-inch I lost as I reached mid 30's age). I did my research, and testimonials like http://www.giantscientific.com/height_gain_forum/viewtopic.php?t=829 have suggested that people have indeed lengthened their spine by stretching regularly. It seems that the gains require maintenance and will be lost after months of not stretching anymore, but this is also true of bodybuilding (I've gained about 30 lbs of muscle to get my weight correct for my new height, and have to keep going to the gym to keep it) so this fact is not a discouragement at all.

Starting now, I will hang from my arms about 30 minutes per day, and hang upside down on my inversion table twice per day for 10 minutes each. I will keep you guys up to date. If it does not work, I will at least be happy that I am avoiding losing height as I age (which WILL happen if I don't do this routine). So no matter what, I am happy with this decision of mine.

P.S. Even though Cute-Bald is still in the leg lengthening phase, I hope he is following up on this, which I believe he should do afterwards.

I would think there are more options than that. How dangerous could surgical spine extension really be? Some of the other options I would consider:

- Leg lengthening above and below the knee. Does the regular process do both? If not, do the other one.
- Neck lengthening, like the Asian (?) women that put the steel rings in one at a time. Perhaps you have to do this while you are growing? You would look like a freak though.
- Some kind of silicone implant, like a breast implant, inserted under the scalp. That would be easy enough.

Doing Yoga will correct your bad posture and give you an extra inch of height. Plus there are hot chicks at yoga

Just a couple of questions out of curiosity since I haven't followed your story.

How much did it cost all in to lengthen you legs?
Was the process excruciatingly painful?
Do you have ongoing pain/arthritis in your legs now from the fractures that had to be made?
Did you have to take 6 or 9 months off work while the surgery / recovery period was on?
Did you have to go to Europe to get it done?
Are you happy you went through all this?

I don't believe Inversion tables have the ability to make you taller, they might be able to slow down your loss of height when you start to age.

I've had mine for over a year and I love it. The main reason I got it was to lessen my back pain, that last summer was extreme.

I tried physio, massage therapy, the bone cracker... all helped, but the table (used for 10 minutes before I go to bed every second day) has resulted in a better posture and elimination of pain. I'm more flexible as well....

Over 100K

Was the process excruciatingly painful?
Nope, just discomfort and weakness.

Do you have ongoing pain/arthritis in your legs now from the fractures that had to be made?
Nope

Did you have to take 6 or 9 months off work while the surgery / recovery period was on?
Yep

Did you have to go to Europe to get it done?
Yes

Are you happy you went through all this?
I would not go back to my old height for $10,000,000.
Those are my answers, but I prefer to look forward than backward.

My next thread will be: How much muscle is perfect to attract women? But I'm not sure if I will get accurate answers from a board consisting of almost all men.

After I lengthened my legs, blah blah blah

With this pitiful cry for attention, I am starting to think that OP is really cue-ball. Surely there are not 2 people so overwhelmingly preoccupied/obsessed with this subject. How many other terb identities does he have?

When astronauts come down, it's often found that they have gained a couple of inches in height from their period of being weightless. so you could try that.
