Gap and similar ones. What are your interests? Where and how do you want to go? do you want a working holiday , rough and ready or have everyone else do the heavy lifting?Has anybody travelled with Gap adventures?

I've heard only good reports of GAP. Well organized and allow plenty of time to 'do your own thing' if you want. Women like them 'cause they are safe and take care of them in places where it may be risky for a woman.

Let us know how it goes when you get back. I've looked into that a few times, but can't devote the time needed for that at this point. (SP's are easy as they're for a few hours in a day, trips, even if for a good cause, take me away from work/clients too long)Going to South America, in November.

Keep the little inoculation passports they should have given you to help with future boosters and redos. The country customs people may like to see them.

Took a Gap Adventure tour to Africa. Was pretty good but you're really roughing it. Our tour guide was great but we did move around a lot and I wasn't prepared but looking back it was a great experience.
The chance of you getting Dengue is very remote as your not there too long and not swimming in the local creeks and rivers. I very carefully chose a "comfort" type trip. I noticed on the website that many of Gap's trips are trekking etc.Took a Gap Adventure tour to Africa. Was pretty good but you're really roughing it.
