South America, in November.Where are you going? Have you already set the dates?
Let us know how it goes when you get back. I've looked into that a few times, but can't devote the time needed for that at this point. (SP's are easy as they're for a few hours in a day, trips, even if for a good cause, take me away from work/clients too long)Going to South America, in November.
Whoa! real soon.My experience is in southern Chile and Argentina, but the best thing i can suggest is to check out fi=orunthat tak about GAP and contribute.South America, in November.
Thanks. I have already spent $900 for myself and my companion on vaccinations, malaria pills etc.Whoa! real soon.My experience is in southern Chile and Argentina, but the best thing i can suggest is to check out fi=orunthat tak about GAP and contribute.
Ya, that's the going rate at many international travel clinics in TO.Thanks. I have already spent $900 for myself and my companion on vaccinations, malaria pills etc.
I had yellow fever, typhoid fever, Hepatitis A and B, the bad news being that there is an outbreak of dengue fever, for which no vaccination exist.Ya, that's the going rate at many international travel clinics in TO.
The chance of you getting Dengue is very remote as your not there too long and not swimming in the local creeks and rivers. It's called broken bone fever for a reason as it hurts like hell if you get it, but that shouldn't happen.I had yellow fever, typhoid fever, Hepatitis A and B, the bad news being that there is an outbreak of dengue fever, for which no vaccination exist.
I had Vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B 4 years ago, but I neglected to take the booster after I came back. AAaarrrg.I had yellow fever, typhoid fever, Hepatitis A and B, the bad news being that there is an outbreak of dengue fever, for which no vaccination exist.
I very carefully chose a "comfort" type trip. I noticed on the website that many of Gap's trips are trekking etc.Took a Gap Adventure tour to Africa. Was pretty good but you're really roughing it. Our tour guide was great but we did move around a lot and I wasn't prepared but looking back it was a great experience.
