Sorry about the confusion. I meant how good is the flash when shooting a still picture in low light (say the living room)? Is it too much, too little or just right? How would a flash work when you are doing video anyhow?

Don't know about the 3 cams you mentioned but I can say the PANASONIC GF1 is terrible. Is the new Olympus E-PL1 worth considering? How does it compare to the Canon S90 or G11?
I’m not sure what to make of the Olympus E-PL1 ( Pen) . It seems like Olympus created a unique and interesting camera. But it seems like it’s positioned somewhere between a P&S and a DSLR. It’s too big to be a good P&S and it’s not versatile enough to be a good DSLR, besides it’s a little on the pricey side. Also, no built-in flash. The viewfinder that fits on the hot-shoe seemed kinda silly to me.Is the new Olympus E-PL1 worth considering? How does it compare to the Canon S90 or G11?
It was designed to be a "junior" DSLR, same as the Panasonic GF1 (retail price $929 or $999). The Panasonic is terrible.I’m not sure what to make of the Olympus E-PL1 ( Pen) . I should have bought the Canon S90 instead of the much more expensive Panasonic GF 1.I would tend to lean towards the S90 or the G11 depending on what you want. I have the S90 and it’s a kick-ass P&S.
