You obviously didn't watch that series. The Pens didn't play very well against Ottawa whcih did not put up anything like the fight Montreal did against Wash.
Good comments, and I'm one of the guys who said they are small. I did not do any stat research, so I'll just assume you're right.I want to say Montréal will win. I'm a huge Habs fan, so clearly I am biased that way.
But, logic tells me Pittsburgh in 6 is the best pick.
Oh, but I want to stop hearing about Montréal being a 'small' team. Yes, the front line players are small-er, but the team is on average around the league average in size and weight. The team is an average team, not above or below. It would behoove everyone (TERB members, media, etc.) to check the team's roster stats before making such sweeping statements.
Do you really think it was luck, As said earlier by myself and others, they were definitely hungrier as evident in most games, got some breaks with calls, posts, and injuries, as do ALL teams, then dug deeper to do what needed to be done. Oh ya, and got a hot goaltender at the right time. Can it happen twice, my heart says sure, but my head says doubt it. Go Habs!!!Will the Habs get lucky twice??? That will be the key to this series.
Hey, look, another loser Leaf fan who can't come to grips with his loser team missing the playoffs.Leafs in 6 ??!!
