It shouldn't be used as a reflex but many of the criticisms of Israel sure seem to be motivated by hatred. Otherwise we would see far more condemnation of the other players in the conflict who have displayed far greater abuses of human rights.

Why does it bother you that a Jewish school is proud of the connection of the Jewish people to Israel. Israel is the historical and present day homeland of the Jewish people.
