The Korea/Japan example while horrific was entirely different. it was an occupying army and had nothing to do with race. That is not to minimize the tragedies you cite.
You can always look for and find roadblock to peace. These were not roadblocks for Egypt and Jordan.

Look firstly I do not doubt their was racism between the Japanese and Koreans etc and I do not wish to minimize it. But if you read history the purpose of the invasion of Korea by Japan was not to eliminate the Korean people as a whole based on ethnicity. That is just an historical fact.
With respect to Syria etc. do you think it helps the situation when Syria supplies Hezbollah with scud missiles? Do you really think that they are supplying Hezbollah because Israel is building in Jerusalem.
