No, he will accidentally trip and fall into a little piece of lead then dieThey'll find him and kill him. This was way too personal for him not to have a death mark on him
I agree. Just for once I'd like to see ALL civilized western democracies actually adhere to the rules of law. If we stoop down to their level, then we are no better than them. They should assign a navy task force to ensure he is safe, comfortable and happy. No, no, no. This would be a war crime.
Bomb Scotland now......Apparently, this asshole has 1.8 million stashed away in a Swiss bank account.

In a perfect world, yes. What about the USAF pilots that bombed Tripoli sparking the Lockerbie retaliation? Should they stand trial for murder?
Although I know from past threads that you have difficulties with such ideas - there is a significant difference between collateral military damage and terrorist acts. Further you may stretch your memory to recall that the Libyan air raid was in response to a Libyan sponsored bombing of a disco in West Berlin which killed several members of the U.S. Army Berlin Brigade. The prosection of this guy was a joke anyway. Even if he did do that, he was a soldier following orders. What about the USAF pilots that bombed Tripoli sparking the Lockerbie retaliation? Should they stand trial for murder?
Run that by family members who lost loved ones there.Although I know from past threads that you have difficulties with such ideas - there is a significant difference between collateral military damage and terrorist acts.
The US attacked military and government targets. Libya attacked purely civilian targets. The prosection of this guy was a joke anyway. Even if he did do that, he was a soldier following orders. War sucks, civilians sometimes die. Decency demands that the military aim to minimize civilian casualties. Sometimes militaries don't do that, and in those cases the collateral damage can amount to a war crime. Even when the military does its best to keep civilian casualties to a minimum, though, unfortunately some civilians still die.Run that by family members who lost loved ones there.
Bet they will dispute your obfuscating niceties....
A Libyan also shot a British policewoman (Constable Fletcher) protecting the Libyan Embassy in London and then claimed diplomatic immunity. I seem to remember hearing reports of Libyan agents murdering Libyan dissidents abroad.Libya attacked purely civilian targets.
I thought the Irish proverb was "Drinking makes strange bedfellows."Old Irish proverb: "Business makes strange bedfellows."
There were 2 CIA agents on board, who is to say everyone else was not "collateral damage"?Although I know from past threads that you have difficulties with such ideas - there is a significant difference between collateral military damage and terrorist acts. yeah, funny how the US seems to attack military targets like Iraq and kills hundreds of thousands of civilians. The US attacked military and government targets. Libya attacked purely civilian targets.
Only a sick mind fails to see a difference.
Knowing two people who were murdered when that aircraft was bombed. Words desert me to express what I feel about your childish and asinine comment. There were 2 CIA agents on board, who is to say everyone else was not "collateral damage"?
How do you think all the other friends and family of "collateral damage" feel. Do you think they say "ahh ok the Americans didn't mean to kill our child"? In your position I find it disgusting you can forgive civilian casualties in war. Maybe if Reagan did not order the bombing of Tripoli, your loved ones would be alive. In your position I find your comments about as asinine as they could be.Knowing two people who were murdered when that aircraft was bombed. Words desert me to express what I feel about your childish and asinine comment.
Actually, it is Al Qaeda that killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians. AQ has a talent for killing civilians. As one Sunni Iraqi tribal elder said: "AQ offers only death and destruction."yeah, funny how the US seems to attack military targets like Iraq and kills hundreds of thousands of civilians.
