In light of the current weather system moving across Ontario, and the predicted cold for Thursday night, I am offering the following Public Service for all of the ladies attending the party. Seek me out and I will share my body heat and keep you warm all night.

I do not have a chip on my shoulder as people think, majority of you really do not know me, and make the assumption by my post that you do.

i think shiek earlier was implying that its going to be a great party and people are getting excited for it to meet people and enjoy a christmas party and that there is no reason to burst the bubble this holiday season.
i understand he had also mentioned a few other things about you which is a whole other story. but i think the main message was...come out! have fun...and negativity is not needed because no body needs to be brought down after a rough year.

We'll pass a hat around to pay for a babysitter, so hire one and you can come.
You could use the ole, you've been invited to go for a holiday drink session with the guys (one's she doesn't know). Works for me.
Or as I believe someone mentioned before, you're going to a holiday fund raiser! It's a good cause!

Thats why I said hang out with guys she doesn't know. There is no interest for her to sit for hours with people she doesn't fit in with.

My kids are no longer in need of a babysitter- they are 13- 16 yrs old.
My youngest daughter is having a great grade 8, and just had an awesome report card! I would be remiss if I didn't give her the time with her teacher to speak to her about it. Secondly, it is my older 2 kids' first "formal" dance for school, (they rented a hall and everything!) and I was chosen to be one of the parent chaperons... It just happens to be on the same night as the TERB party.
So you see, my "daddy duty" includes things that are a parent's responsibility and privilege and I wouldn't miss them for anything. Since Mrs. CG has to work, I am stepping up, and am proud to do so.
