I saw him live in London in July 1988, front row (thanks to General Admission tickets for Wembley Stadium), during one of my other lives. That was it.
Gyaos Baltar.
Dude, I hope you didn't have to use the bathroom during that.

There would have to be an Oscar category for this first. This seriously is an Oscar contender for concert or musical movie.
What no Sinatra in there? If I had to hang out with an entertainer, I'd pick Elvis or even Dean Martin over MJ. Dean Martin was also a natural, shunned rehearsals, and was multi-talented. He was a great singer, actor, and comedian.
This guy is by-far the weirdest looking celebrity of all time. He makes Joan Rivers look like a supermodel.
Whats even more strange is that celebrities love him, and even emulate him and look the other way in regards to him being a child molester.
Those who have seen it say exactly that - you wont' be bummed out and that fractions of the film, let alone the entire thing, are well worth the admission fee.Michael Jackson was a musical genius but a deeply flawed human being. Watching a rehersal of a show he never made would be a downer. I want to be uplifted, not bummed out.

I have no idea, but you're probably right.Did he not plan to make a movie out of this in the first place?
My sentiments exactly.Whats even more strange is that celebrities love him, and even emulate him and look the other way in regards to him being a child molester.
Sure, he has not been back but there are folks who either were born after 1984 or came to Canada after 1984...There is a big reason why he never came back to Canada to perform after 1984. He was never popular here so your thread won't receive to many positive responses.
These folks are incapable of separating the two. It's like they're mentally handicapped. In any event, it seems like those of you who diss this movie because of MJ himself have not seen it and probably have no plans to see it. Anyway, this is not a post about MJ as a person but it is about the movie. If you have something to say about MJ's personality or whatever but nothing to say about this movie, pls do not hi-jack this thread and take the off-topic discussion elsewhere.
Multitasking and separating the two is too taxing for many of our conservatives friends who demonstrate they are not the brightest bulbs on the x-mas shrub....These folks are incapable of separating the two. It's like they're mentally handicapped.
I think this usually happens by default when an entertainer dies (if their existence was interesting to begin with). The subject of death is hard hitting for most people, and the media shock factor gets most people to pay attention.I was a fan of his all thoroughout his career, unlike some of the bandwagon supporters who have seemed to praise his talents now that he is dead.
I think I would rather poke my eye with a hot sharp stickDid anyone see this movie this past week? I saw it tonight and thought it was good. His death also killed the dreams of a few who were about to perform with him.
Can I poke the other?I think I would rather poke my eye with a hot sharp stick
