I initially didn't even consider watching it, but I will see it soon and get back to you. Several people that I know who've seen it say it's quite interesting - and these folks aren't your typical movie-goers. It sounds like it sheds new light on the greatest performer that any of us will ever know in our lifetimes.

With the title of this movie/documentary being "This Is It".. let's hope it really is.

Dirty Diana is my favourite. I was a fan of his all thoroughout his career, unlike some of the bandwagon supporters who have seemed to praise his talents now that he is dead.
His main problem in life was that he locked himself inside his home 24/7 and essentially became crazy from the lack of interaction with people. I mean, if I stay inside my house for more than 2 days at a time, I find that I get a little whacko too.

For all the hoopla he will never have the staying power of Elvis.
It still amazes me that they sell "Elvis" costumes for halloween, you can be legally married by a fake Elvis...I just cannot see people requesting a fake Michael Jackson to marry them.
But his 15 minutes will last a little longer - Those that were around him would still like to make a buck off of his corpse.

There is a big reason why he never came back to Canada to perform after 1984. He was never popular here so your thread won't receive to many positive responses.
I'd rather attend the shooting of an Italian variety show.

I have not seen it yet but I fully intend to, I think he had an incredible talent and to be honest I have never bought into the accusations against him. What a shame we will never know the truth.

I've said it before, but to me it will be just a fine example of creative editing and loops of a rehearsal, not the most entertaining time in the creation of a show, yet they will try and make money with and charge $15 a head to do it and it will go in whose pockets.; not his kids.

Michael Jackson was a musical genius but a deeply flawed human being. Watching a rehersal of a show he never made would be a downer. I want to be uplifted, not bummed out.

I saw it last night.
Thought it was real good look behind the scenes of what could've and most likely would've been the concert of the decade.
The dude was at the top of his game, and wasn't gonna disappoint.
This seriously is an Oscar contender for concert or musical movie.

This guy is by-far the weirdest looking celebrity of all time. He makes Joan Rivers look like a supermodel.
Whats even more strange is that celebrities love him, and even emulate him and look the other way in regards to him being a child molester.

I saw him live in London in July 1988, front row (thanks to General Admission tickets for Wembley Stadium), during one of my other lives. That was it.
