I know when I hold my incalls at hotels, I usually have another SP I know working in the same hotel.

Perhaps find a location in close area of another SP. Many buildings are located very closely together in Toronto.

That is why I like having a support group from maggie's and street out reach. and some of them feel very comfortable working from home or having a second apartment for them it's a matter of personal choice so they can be 100% comfortable with themselves and with thier clients.

Many of them said they have been lucky to have no problems with hosting at home. which I found baffling at first. but I guess it goes in thier screening proccess to have a level of security when having a client over.

so I just have to sit down with myself create a budget for hotel cost, 2 apartment cost and 1 apartment cost for incalls and see which keeps more money in my bank account.

I guarantee if you spend 1 week @ a hotel off the highway in Oakville or Markham, you won't have to work for the rest of the month.
I understand copycraigs your trying to push your hotel booking service, but I also have to think of my traveling cost to hotels, and also the cost of hotels. and my time spent working and waiting for bookings and booking clients. as I mentioned before there is alot to consider then just booking a hotel.

here is an example 45 a day in a hotel for a week which let's say for example sack its about 315. then the cost of food, while staying in the hotel can't really bring a lunch in a hotel since they don't really have room int he mini fridge. so that is about 25 a day on food. then the traveling to the hotel 20 a cab in downtown toronto there and back give or take.

plus to pack and lug the suite cases of towels, supplies and clothes to wear. and also keep yourself entertained while waiting for a client or if a day is slow while in the hotel. then of course at home cat sitting service. for each day I am in the hotel.

so if I do 7 days in a hotel . that is about 315, then about 175 on food. 20 on travel in a cab if i am downtown toronto. since I do not drive. or if you hire a driver to take you outside of your base city that will cost about 30 to 40 drop off then another 30 to 40 for pick up since private drivers aren't cheap. and cat sitting is 30 per day.

Plus pay per view entertainment can't really keep yourself busy waiting around for a client.

cats go into shock when they are traveling alot. not something I want to do and put my little guys in harm.

With all the cost invovled and my personal choice a hotel is not one of the things on the list. This thread wasnt about getting a hotel. it was about weighing the pros and cons of having 2 apartments or one large apartment.

post questions, receive answers, reject the advice. Odd behaviour when a person consistently negates every point explaining why it doesn't apply to her.

Constant negativity, rejecting other people, on request, to me it would cause stress - stress, the cause of all illness.

It seems you're looking for confirmation of what you already believe. False pride; if you believe it, it should be good enough to act on.

It's tough to engineer a 100% solution, most scenarios turn out successful when the solution is good enough.

It seems just about every working girl here has a cat or dog, they manage diverse work scenarios, so can you. In the GTA 2 - 3 million people travel to and from work at least twice a day, so can you, maybe 2 - 3 times per week? Cats can easily survive 2 or three days by themselves, more, they're solitary animals.

When I was active, I found the hotel room scenario much preferable to condo or apartment. Hotels excel in discretion, apartments not at all, they're no different than a house on a neighbourhood watch street with the old Italian / Ukranian / Portuguese ladies watching everybodies' comings and goings.

Renting / leasing an apartment implies a contract, somewhat long term financial and legal obligations. Shared with another girls means you're obligated to her and to the lessor. In public anyway your track record of interpersonal skills isn't very good: a shared rental would definitely be contraindicated.

I had appointment in a hobby-only apartment 2 SP's shared in Mississauga. After 2 hour appointment she was rushing me and herself out as her partner was due for her appointment. Just a terrible ending; I never repeated.

I never felt comfortable enough in SP's apartment-home, too personal, detritus of real life is on display. Also, you'll eventually leave envelope, Dr's appointment slip, prescription label bottle, birthday card (I've seen them all) with your name in sight.

A hotel room you just walk away.

Anyway, of your two scenarios, I have less objection visiting woman in a hobby specific shared location, provided I can somehow know it's 2 only, not a 24 hour 20+ lady finishing house. But again, based on recent publicity, this would be a big mistake for you.

hmm????

NOT TO HIJACK THIS THREAD but I am confused with this girl

1.she owes money to the webmaster
.strayed from agency to agency-TALK THEM BAD
.bad attitude and rude-WONT CHANGE.
.only want high end incall for 50 dollars???????confusing
.did incalls in the past still did not make money so how can you deal with another pricey apartment???
.possible be arrested for incalls and being robbed
.if you cannot pay rent they will throw you out with bad credit for the next 10 years cannot get another apartment till then.
9.you have no intentions of getting a side job as a back up so what happens then.
10.make threads about the same old questions that you should have already known.
11.last advice if you cannot make money doing one hotel incall why do you think you whould now knowing the fact your reputation is not good as an escort.

There is little threat from the police busting an incall of a single working girl. The cops will know it is an incall, but unless she is selling drugs or annoying the neighbours she should be fine. Unless she is in York, that is.

Thanks everyone for your input. I did get legal advice on it about hosting incalls in a residence or a hotel and at most I might have a roommate but that is yet to be determined.

Excluding underage girls, drugs, illegal immigrants/slaves and street action has there been a single arrest of an escort or john in Toronto in the last ten years?
Yes. But not for being an inmate of a common bawdy house. Not for a long looooong time. Some hassling (MP clients mostly) but the girls and johns haven't taken the brunt of it in awhile, agency owners rarely if ever... so long as its clean, healthy, and discrete - meaning free of the above issues - the incall is likely to be left alone.

Other exception when when the neighbours hear clients knocking too frequently at the door and start to wonder, report it to the building manager, and then the incall has to move ASAP.

Here is the website for those like me who just learned about this group you take part of.

Maggie's is an organization run for and by sex workers. Our mission is to assist sex workers in our efforts to live and work with safety and dignity. We are founded on the belief that in order to improve our circumstances, sex workers must control our own lives and destinies.

Might I suggest

A lovely downtown shared condo...You have your own room (gorgeous) and bathroom...which doubles as your work locale. Heck....Move in if you like.

Now you got your residence.....workplace....privacy all in one..UNDER SOMEONE ELSES NAME!

Sounds perfect for a SP.

For you....$1000 / mth.

I have had a few great locations over the years in Toronto.. My best one was probably Park Lawn/Lakeshore as it was easy for people from downtown to get to as well as super great for people heading to work or heading home that commuted from Mississauga/Oakville or Etobicoke.

Another was at Pottery Rd just off the DVP but was close enough to the subway.

My last incall in Toronto was a bad location as it was too far from downtown for most people and too far from Scarborough. I loved it though because it was so spacious.. so you have to then weigh the pros and cons.

If I were to go back to Toronto I would take somewhere near the DVP at York Mills or so.. close enough for people to come/go from downtown if you are driving and accessible to the north/east and west. Several choices of apts in that area.

As for candles for ambience... I gave that up years ago in favor of paper orange lights from ikea and a few lava lamps in pink/red. It looks awesome and all go on attached to one or two switches. My mini-red-light district.

Mirrors are a must. I have mirrored closet doors and then a fantastic large mirror beside the bed as I love to watch when I get pounded doggie style.

I look for cleanliness, in a safe neighbourhood with easy access via car or transit. I don't like these incalls that are in huge condo complexes, its like a maze inside (easy to get lost).

Riley, do not think about doing incalls out of your personal residence. All it takes is one stalker. You should find a fellow indy Sp and go halves on a place. You'll be able to find a nice bachelor or one bedroom for $1,200-$1,300/mth.

Good luck.

Thanks for everyone who emailed me, sent me pms, and the input on the thread about different set ups for an in-call from sharing, solo, condos and resident apartments having 1 in-call and a separate home or a 2 bedroom condo or apartment.

I already shared an in-call before, and it was just too many girls in one place. and not even enough balance and work being done just more drama and stress then what it's worth.

agree'd, it's best to have your own private in-call location.
YOUR space, YOUR schedule etc..

i/we had a nice little apt near yonge/stclair,
other then driving between the hours of 4pm to 7pm in that area,
it was perfect :)
