mirrors really are a must , the more the better
not that i see them alot, i'm ''busy'' at the time
re: stalkers.. I've never had one in my whole life!
anytime I've had anyone get an idea in their head that they would fall in love with me and I didn't return the feelings.. I let them know and have listened/advised them and often been thanked for setting them straight.
People advising you to have 2 places are not being realistic. Some guys seem to have unrealistic ideas of how much money we can make. Working twice as hard to have 2 places does more to unravel you than worrying about a possible stalker.
Besides if you get a stalker you get one.. anyone can have one... not just girls who have sex for money.

Exactly, I remember I was on the train and this girl coming from her office job said the most disturbing thing how she thought it would be cool to have a stalker and I nearly lost it on her but I kept quiet and I kept listening, how could you want your life to be feared and look over your shoulder. and she has a square job. as I said in my head.re: stalkers.. maybe one big mirror in the room but in an angle where I can not stair at it. that is distracting for me mirrors. and if I am distracted I can't give a good service and an enjoyable memorable time.
I am on the ikea website and i am seeing great ideas of how I can decorate the new place.
Us working girls we take enough pre-cautious as it is of how many clients we see, when we work, how we work and also if we are going to be working alone, or with another or a group. Plus we have to handle all the cost and of working and living.

i just picked up this beauty from an antique shop, it doubles as my headboard ;-)
I got my mirror at IKEA and it's got a silver frame.. I get compliments on it all the time. I think it was 100 bucks. I have it on an IKEA wooden table on an angle next to my bed... plus with the romantic lighting it's perfect.
Having 2 places is very possible. I always had a seperate incall. Always. For safety, for seperation of business and private life, etc.
I haven't read this whole thread so I don't know if was covered, but I will say that location as far as streets is just as important as location in the building. So want to walk the path that your client would walk. You want to be mindful of your neighbors. Getting an apartment close to the stairs or evelator is good. Getting a ground level or top level is great. Look for apartments that are mainly adult buildings or have adult floors. Always have 2 routes for your client to enter and exit.
Parking - make sure there is alot of parking, and make sure there is different options for parking. The visitors parking, the plaza across the street, etc.
All the other stuff like clean building, good location for TTC and 401 access, etc.
If you are getting an apartment, you don't want people to find out what you are doing. The stress of having to move, coming up with first and last all over again, it is all a pain in the ass. So make sure that you are aware about some of these things.

I like an entrance system where you don't have to use an intercom to get buzzed in. I prefer a phone so everyone in the lobby doesn't hear.
2nd or 3rd floor would be nice so you can take the staris. I suppose perfection would be to have a unit on the 2nd floor right by the door to the stairs.
Curtains on the windows, a dark room if possible.
I don't like the bed having a metal frame and being up against the wall so that as you are going at it it hits the wall and rattles and thumps your activities to all the neighbours.
Not tons of incense or other smells. Simple ivory soap in the shower.

I have left to many butt plugs and lube in hotel rooms its just better to get a residence where I can have things lying around in the bedrooms and just close the bedroom doors.
