Good flick but no not Copps. Wasn't built then. Believe they shot it in Burlington at the old Central Arena. The town sequeneces though were shot in and around Jamestown between downtown Hamilton and the waterfront.

I beg to differ dj... I moved to Hamilton in November 1985 and Copps Coliseum had just opened. Youngblood was was released in 1986...

Having said this, it has been so long since I saw the film... I don't recall if Copps was featured in it, but I do recall hearing about filming for the flick in and around downtown.
