Pancreatic cancer is definately one of the most deadliest. the 4th most deadly in Canada. Overall survival rate at %0.5.Pancreatic cancer is one the deadliest of the cancers. That he lived since January 2008 with it is impressive. A dear friend has battled it since January 2009. I expect her to pass within the next few days. It has been an eye opening experience to see family, loved ones and hospital staff in this position. I realize that I never really appreciated what others have been through when I hear that they lost their parents to cancer, etc ...
I am left wondering how we live in a society that does not have euthanasia for the terminally ill. Surely we can offer more grace and dignity than to withhold fluids.
Rest in peace, Patrick.

I liked Roadhouse and Point Break as well. I saw both DD and Ghost, but yes, more of the "chick flick" genre IMHO...Roadhouse and Point Break... LOVE THOSE MOVIES... Ghost and Dirty Dancing are my wife and daughter's favorites. The wife has always had a thing for Patrick.
Forgot about Youngblood. I think they had a shot of Copps in there somewhere but I don't think the whole thing was done there.I liked Roadhouse and Point Break as well. I saw both DD and Ghost, but yes, more of the "chick flick" genre IMHO...
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the North & South TV mini series' yet. Also, Youngblood which was filmed in Hamilton if I'm not mistaken...
