I have admitted to being a thief?? Your accusations galore knows no bounds just to protect your idol called Dumb DOFO.

But good attempt to deflect from the question. So you cannot prove that Ontario is Bankrupt. So Fake News Boober69 cannot be taken seriously at all, even for a microsecond. Period and am done with you!!
Ripping off online articles by skirting the security system/pay wall is stealing. What part of that is not stealing?

No I am not. See that is a full presumption from you with no real facts. My buddy subscribes to it and has given me his password etc. So it is legal. But all along all you had to do was to keep on clearing the history from your computer. Then you would have the two free articles renewed on a continuous basis. So there you were wrong once again. Guess you should spend your time with some Board Games with some 12 year old children. Maybe you will be able to win for once!!

As for Dumb DOFO, he obviously did not pay taxes on the income generated from his street hash sales. That is called the real robbing, and you defend the real thief!!

Still no reasonable response as to how Ontario is "bankrupt" as you have posted on a constant basis!!

A quote with a link is not stealing.
He makes a lot of random allegations. His very fake allegation is that "Ontario is Bankrupt". Wonder why Ontario still has the AA2 rating. Used to be AA3, but within 6 months of the Dumb DOFO Gov's tenure it has tanked to AA2. All the same no Province or Nation has been considered to be bankrupt with that rating. So get your popcorn cooking, as he is going to tell us why he thinks that Ontario is bankrupt!!

That's still stealing. Sharing a password for a paid account so more than one person can access it is like paying for a newspaper at a box, and keeping it open so your buddy can take another one for free.

It's funny how you're scrambling to make it sound like what you have done is not stealing but you're only digging yourself a deeper hole by admitting it again.

And clearing cookies to fool the pay wall system is also stealing. A few free copies is all they are offering, taking more is theft.

You're a fraud and an admitted thief. You have zero integrity and you should be the last person accusing others of being crooks.

You have been caught. Deal with it.

Nice try but you have obviously missed the sequence of events here.

He offered a link to an article that he read for free after skirting the pay wall. Then admitted to how he did it when someone asked why he was sharing per-pay articles that others couldn't read.

You like defending thieves?

Random allegations? You admitted it! No allegations here, just facts and confessions from you.

So first you said it was accessible by clearing cookies, then you say your friend shared his password with you?

So which is it?

So rather than call out your buddy for actually stealing, you'll "watch my sources in the future"? Is that supposed to distract from the fact that your friend is a thief and that you are doing your best to ignore it?
You leftists are so quick to accuse others of things you are doing yourselves and this just proves that.

So answer my question...do you condone stealing?

No sharing a password is not stealing. Your analogy is totally flawed. If my buddy subscribes to a an actual newspaper, reads it and passes it on to me, you then call it stealing??

Who mentioned "clearing cookies". You got it wrong there again. I said clearing the History. It is my computer and I have every right to do so. If an internet site installs cookies also on your computer, then you have every right to clear them. That is not called "STEALING". Go back to school to learn that definition.

Yet you still defend Dumb DOFO who did not pay any taxes when he sold the street hash. That is called real stealing from the Government. Yet you defend a real thief. You are an accomplice to it!! LOL!! I think I am done with you when you start accusing people on this Board of being thieves etc.

The next time you make these fake allegations, then I am going to forward it to the Moderator. This breaks all the rules on this Board!!

100% random Allegations from you, one again!!

Some of the media offers you a limited number of free articles online. They track it based on your history. Everyone has the right to clear the history from their computers. This also erases the automatic logins etc. but that is no problem if you know your passwords. Once the history is erased you are back to zero articles viewed. But if you did not know this basic fact, then obviously you are not tech savvy.

I have an agreement with a buddy to share various passwords etc. It has nothing to do with stealing. So for once do not accuse others of being thieves. See my post above with regards to reporting such allegations as it violates the rules on this Board!!

Everyone doesn't have the right to keep getting free articles just because they know how to beat the system. So you're wrong.
Sharing passwords is also stealing because each password is assigned to one person and meant for one person.

Media outlets rely on subscriptions to stay in business and pay their employees. Free articles are provided so people can sample what they have to offer. Not for people like you to skirt the system and keep getting free articles.
How do expect companies to stay in business if you continually steal from them.

You're a thief. Plain & simple.
You just can't accept that reality because it means you have condemned other for alleged illegal activities while being guilty of it yourself.
Hypocrite.

Is it also illegal to buy a newspaper and let someone else read it after you?
Is it also illegal for a library to buy a paper or online subscription and let people read it?

Is this the part where you are tap dancing to avoid admitting that skirting a pay wall is stealing?

Publications in libraries are paid for by memberships and taxes. So having multiple people read them without being able to just take them away is not stealing.

Tricking an online pay wall to receive free publications is theft. The publisher has not consented to someone receiving free articles beyond the first few it offers as samples.

Care to keep justifying why stealing is ok?

Bvr said he shares a password, implying they are sharing one account.
You think that's stealing?

Libraries don't pay royalties to authors, and not for copying. Why is that legal but not sharing an account?
Why can libraries share one account to thousands but bvr isn't allowed to share it with one friend?
Would it also be illegal if they split the costs?

Why is clearing cookies illegal in your mind?

Bver first said he clears cookies...then when called out on that he changed his tune to a sharing password which is still theft. He's a liar, and you are pathetic for trying to defend him.

You think online publishers put up pay walls so that people can hack their way around them? You think publishers consent to that?

Just because it may be fairly simple for someone to do, doesn't mean it's not theft.

Shame on you guys. The same socialists that believe "everyone should pay their fair share"...are the ones stealing just because they can. Pathetic hypocrites.

Listen, you just do not know how to discuss and argue topics in a civil manner. I have the right to clear the history from my computer. If you do not know how to do that it is your problem.
Show me where it states that it is "stealing", as this has been discussed in the "Technology section". Then you are accusing numerous members of this board of being "thieves".

Have you read the terms and conditions of The Star's Subscription?? Show me where it violates those terms and conditions and says that "ONLY ONE PERSON" is allowed to access the site based on one subscription. If the girl that I date occasionally gave me this password, and I have shared my passwords with her, then that is our business and nothing to do with you. You are full of random allegations and name calling on a constant basis. You are sick in the head and dumb as hell!!

See how you lie!! I said that I clear the history from my computer. Not the cookies. Get your facts right rather than lie on a constant basis. JEEZ!!

You are the most pathetic person on this Board and you are proving it. No one is hacking into the website. Where do you get that notion!! Do you know the meaning of "HACKING"??
I clear the history on my computer on a regular basis. You poor non savvy person cannot even understand why people do that. So if you cannot understand that basic fact then you are beyond redemption as it has nothing to do with "Stealing"!!
What have publishers got to do with what you do to your own computer?? Even the ones discussing this in the Technology Section were right wingers. So you are saying that they are Socialists for doing so. Bahahahahahaha!! You are sick!!

Anyway, you still have no proof that Ontario is bankrupt. This is desperation on your part to deflect!!

Boober is just trying to deflect, so he is now trying to pick at straws and has got his panties in a twist. He made a random allegation that Ontario is bankrupt. I have asked him for proof as the credit rating is AA2, meaning NOT BANKRUPT. Obviously, he does not want to answer that question.

So now he is accusing me of "Stealing" as I clear my history on a regular basis. This in turn gives you the opportunity to get extra free articles. Still, it is not stealing. But recently my buddy started subscribing to The Toronto Star, as they are no longer offering the free articles. So it is not illegal to share the password with a close friend. It has all her Credit Card Info etc. I do the same with the sites that I subscribe to and that is part of the business that we are involved with. No where does it state that the subscription is for just a single person. It just states that only one person can log on at a time and the passwords cannot be used simultaneously at the same time with regards to The Toronto Star. Boober cannot understand that simple fact, but still call me a "Thief". He is a just a lost cause. Period!!

This is fun...watching you try and distract from the fact that you're a thief. So let's humour you shall we...

Pay walls use cookies to determine if someone has already visited the site. Cookies contain tracking info about you and your computer/network. That's how they can tell when you've used all your free articles. When you clear your history, most browsers clear the cookies as well. If you weren't clearing cookies, you couldn't get past most pay walls. So nice try on that one.

Let's continue to address your distracting statements...
Hacking pay walls includes doing things to avert them detecting you, ie clearing cookies. "Hacking into a website" is a very broad term. But again, you just threw that in there to distract from the fact that you're a thief.

You consciously said you found a way around them (but you originally left out the part about how you did it). Someone who wasn't consciously aware of how to get around them, would just assume the articles are always free and wouldn't make the connection that clearing history would allow them free access all the time. You were aware and claimed you were. Your intention was to keep getting free articles by avoiding their pay wall.

You're a thief. Thieves can't be trusted.
