Of course there's nothing wrong about coaching someone before they speak to congress about your business interests in Russia.
What is wrong is that Cohen lied about Trump's Russian interests to congress.

Guiliani should have said they didn't talk to Cohen at all before the testimony, because now you have to ask why Cohen lied after Trump coached him.

Cohen had claimed falsely that the company's effort to build the tower ended in January 2016, when in fact discussions continued through June of that year, as Trump was clinching the Republican nomination for president.

Carr, people familiar with the matter said, hoped Leopold would notice that Cohen had not said during the hearing that Trump had explicitly directed him to lie. But Leopold, who co-authored the story with reporter Anthony Cormier, told the spokesman he was not taking any signals, and Carr acknowledged the point.

We don't know if it was Trump, if someone talked to him it could have been anyone in the inner circle, only Buzzfeed said it was Trump.

So your saying Cohen lied based on Trump's PUBLIC comments you know he always kissed Trump's ass, how is this any different? How do you know what Cohen and Trump talked about? were you there? Giuliani says Trump might have talked to Cohen about testimony:

President Donald Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani argued Sunday he did not know for sure if Trump spoke with Michael Cohen about his congressional testimony, but that it would not have been significant if Trump did.

"I don't know if it happened or didn't happen. It may be attorney-client privilege if it happened, where I can't acknowledge it. But I have no knowledge that he spoke to him, but I'm telling you I wasn't there then," Giuliani said on CNN's "State of the Union" with Jake Tapper.
He continued, "So what if he talked to him about it?"
Giuliani said as far as he knew, Trump had not had discussions with Cohen where Trump "told him or counseled him to lie."
Giuliani's comments came after the office of special counsel Robert Mueller disputed a report from BuzzFeed News that said Trump directed Cohen to lie to Congress about a Trump Tower project in Moscow. Mueller's office said the outlet's "description of specific statements to the Special Counsel's Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen's Congressional testimony are not accurate."
In an interview that aired Sunday morning on NBC's "Meet the Press," Giuliani was asked about the report and said he was "certain" Trump would never have asked Cohen not to tell the truth to Congress.
"Categorically, I can tell you his counsel to Michael Cohen throughout that entire period was, 'Tell the truth,'" Giuliani said. "We thought he was telling the truth. I still believe he may have been telling the truth when he testified before Congress."

Correct, if the statements were public why the hell would Trump tell Cohen to lie? The statements were public, he didn't have to tell him anything. If Cohen lied to match Trump's public statements that's on Cohen, not Trump.

Cohen is his own person, it's his decision to say whatever he wants, your point was Trump told Cohen to lie, but his statements were public, no need to tell Cohen to lie.

Guiliani said they may have spoken, nowhere did he say coached, stop making things up. If Cohen lied to match Trump's lies that's on him, He's his own man, or was he just Trump's puppet? If he was Trump's puppet now he's Mueller's puppet. So if he lied to please Trump, he will lie to please Mueller.
