Braden Halliday pitched an inning for the Cdn Juniors vs a Blue Jay split squad yesterday. 3 up 3 down' 2 fly outs and a ground out. He is only 17 and a long way from getting there. It was just special to see the young man pitch from the same mound his father once pitched from.

Jaimie Garcia is the 5th starter if everyone is healthy.
Stroman just started pitching again yesterday , and may have to be DL’d to the start the season. Biagini steps in if he can’t go.

Season starts next week thursday.

We're all wrong from time to time.

I'm guessing Zeke didnt get any spring training playing time because Giby already knows what he can (and cant) do at MLB level. So there's no point really. I hope he makes it back, but the problem with him is he doesnt do any specific thing really well. He throws OK, he runs OK, he hits for power OK and for average OK.

So what do you do with him?? You cant really use him as a specialty utility player in any position, because he's just OK everywhere

That new Korean pitcher we got is gonna be dynamite this season I predict.
